Betting on the outcome of games that streamers participate in. It happened in LoL already so it was just a matter of time before it popped up here.
I think the longest I've seen where people were seriously responding was during the Brazil drama in champs '21
Usually they stop after it ends with the continue thread hyperlink
The point I'm trying to make is that having an igl with bad mechanics isn't a good enough reason by itself to make a team worse than another with a mechanically adequate igl. (Obv, if all factors were the same this would be true, but that's not the case here)
While Lev have 5 mechanically sound playesr, I think nzr, mazino, and shyy are slightly worse than players like leo, suygetsu, mako, etc. And I think the value igls like fns, vanity etc. bring makes up for their mechanical problems. So, I don't think Lev is necessarily the best roster on paper.
It likely has randomness weighted by the stats of the player so the results can be weird
2021 Sen and 2022 Loud are examples of that imo. I think they're two different types of teams that both can work.
IMO the best team in this tournament will be decided in large part by the chemistry between the players. There's so many good rosters on paper but most are newly formed without even an existing core.
I feel like historic results have shown that a mechanically inadequate but strategically sound igl is more valuable (if not necessary) than a fifth rifler.
Ange1, redgar, FNS, boaster etc. have shown that this type of team can succeed
I'm looking forward to the climbing gym reopening in a few days!
this some FDA type shit the roster is only 40% NA
This is pretty accurate, though I think Koi and KC should be given an honorable mention
This is super cool! Did you use the teams' actual set ups on each map or like just choose from a bunch of them randomly?
Can someone post a screenshot I can't seem to find it in that link
Nvm it showed up after I changed language
Tbf he didn't really get a fair chance to prove himself because NU was already in shambles
They're all equally bad so I just had to read one!
Bro the first person to graduate preschool 5 times
Real and based top 5 babysasuke posts list:
Marved isn't even on a franchise team bro tf is he gonna do
He def a Top 10 Mickey mouse tournament player though
U need to shower (objectively)
S/NA could actually work but special characters are ugly.
What is it? I'm not typing the whole thing out every time. Ideally it would be 4 characters like EMEA and APAC.
LOUD in 2022 were a super superteam they had the best Brazil had to offer. That's no longer the case, though they still have great players.
it's because aardis doesn't have enough followers. Only reason he's underrated tbh. He's easily top 5 in the world when he's in good form.
You have around 5150 replies and 6739 posts at the time this comment is written. That means your clout factor is only 0.76420833951. (which is significantly less than mine!)
i have 76
there's 50 replies per page so I have aroud 3800 replies total. since i have 4150 posts at the time of writing this, i have a 0.91 chance that a post I make is replied to.
i will call this statistic the clout factor. calculate your clout factor and post it below!
the roster has a lot of experience and room for growth. im just not confident that koldamenta is a top franchise igl. I'm sure he will help develop the roster but I think that will be the limiting factor for this iteration of KOI.
damn, that's unfortunate. it seemed like he had a lot of potential.
he doesn't have anything on his vlr for the past 5 months, is he still competing?
yeah, I think it'll be difficult to even keep up with the games in the main leagues. I personally don't see myself watching any VCLs unless there's an exceptional match.
Every fnatic loss is a fluke
If so, which? I wanted to see how many people are planning to watch them.
NA is washed tbh. They peaked in 2021 Reykjavik and have been flunking their way since. Their only win since that was the Mickey mouse masters in 2022 where fnatic got screwed over. I think you should stop coping and accept the fact that fnatic will win everything this year
Fnatic wins by a long shot l1nk is the only good shot on liquid
It's pointless to compare standalone movies to franchise sequels. They're made to appeal to different audiences in different ways.
I think the problem is that there's always someone overshadowing derke when he's in good form. IMO his highest peak (relative to the competition at the time) is during Reykjavik 2021 or the EMEA playoffs before Reykjavik 22.
90% Fnatic win an international lan this year
50% DRX win the APAC league
10% Talon win Sao Paulo
I don't think that's true at all. Fnatic have leaned more into their firepower recently, but their core style still revolves around elaborate setplays, gimmicks, and preparation for the other team.
The biggest flaw with early '21 fnatic was their lack of firepower - they'd just lose duels so often leading to unfavorable situations.
