the other stat is likely more accurate since (as far as I know) tracker.gg creates this distrubtion of their own data (which is only a subset of the total).

the other counts the number of players on the immortal leaderboard which I believe is available to everyone and officially distributed. In addition, they use the player proportions given by the official riot post.

tldr: the numbers calculated in hanafuuji's post are the populations of tracker.gg tracked players in each region which may or may not be representative of the true populations in each region.

"Dominant Hand Reaction Time for Females vs. Males. Comparison of the average dominant hand reaction times between genders. The mean reaction times were 26.5 ms shorter in men than in women" [1]. This study was based on tactile response time in the same hand (vibration to middle finger, time to move index finger). In [2] it is also found that the visual and audio reaction times differ by the similar 20-25ms. They conclude, "it takes the same time for both the auditory and visual stimuli to reach the cortex but the time taken for the corresponding motor response and muscle contraction might differ" [2]. The authors of [2] then cite another source which hypothesizes that the difference in physical build between males and females may be the cause of this difference.

It is also noted in [2] that practice and rest may lead to improved reaction times.

whether that specific statistic affects their performance in Valorant, I don't know. I honestly doubt it since nobody ever reacts solely of visuals or audio in fps games, there's other state-specific information.

lets be real here she's competing in T1000 whomegalul cares if some dogasswater fuckwad decides to exploit the rules of the competition. relative to the wider VCT, the competitive integrity lost is pretty much zero anyways.

in teh first place, the point of GC was never to provide a real competition - i think it was to introduce members of marginalized backgrounds into an environment that somewhat mimics T2 competition to change the culture. Being slightly cynical, having cis male (AMAB) people who would rather choose to compete in GC than T2/3 probably only serves to improve the overall skill of the still majority underrepresented population in said tournaments. I'd argue that prominent members of these competitions who time and time again win, attempting to stick around also violates the integrity of the competition in the first place.

It wasn't created to be farmed by players who never try to REALLY make it. It was made to give players who would otherwise never try a path to REALLY compete.
