Day 2 2nd opening b + openings c
Day 3 openings d + upper finals a
Day 4 upperfinals b-d
And so on
They stated that on day 4 they will have 4 quarterfinals teams set so they can draw the quarterfinal seeds.
My guess from then on is
Day 5 elim a-c
Day 6 elim d + decider a+b
Day 7 decider c+d + one quarter finals between 2nd seed a/b vs seed 1
Day 8 rest of quarterfinals
Day 9 semis
Day 10 grands

Also i wanna add one more thing, in play-ins lower region teams actually g3t to compete. Look at paperrex for example, they will get destroyed by 3 tier 1 teams. Its just nice to have a play-in where the lower teams can compete + we can have more teams. We would have more teams of emea and na in top 16 most likely but also more teams overall

It would basically mean 12 teams go to the main event and 12 teams go to play-in where 4 get thru and we get the same 16 teams bracket.

Play-in could look like this
3 groups of 4, double elim (4 days) where the first seed goes to main event (3 teams) and number 2 goes to wildcardround;
Single round robin between 3 teams (1 day) (4th team)

Or ilike this:
4 groups of 3 single round robin (4 days)
(This would allow a group of death tho)

It would only take up 4-5 days and could also be held online, from where the teams are bootcamping.

16 teams just isnt enough to represent the amount of regions, maybe for summer they do something like MSI where they only send one per region, to make it a bit less hectic, but otherwise I dont see why they shouldnt do 24 teams. Because china, south asia and ocenia arw abouz to join VCT, no matter where u take those spots off it hurts. U would have to give, korea, japan, brazil only one spot or take off spots from na and emea, or not even include china, SA and OCE

Its uneccesary to have 6 EMEA teama tho, also MENA has no shot of making it through EMEA they will get clapped.
4 teams are enough to represent a region and arw perfect for seeding, if riot stops putting 2 in the same group. Its the same thing in LoL where no region gets more tha 4 slots

I would keep it at 4 and give the region that wins masters +1 for the next stage
