I wouldnt really take the 3 regions as an argument here. The factors are: playerbase, number of proteams, competitivnes and fanbase.
While NA has bigger fanbase, EMEA clearly has more players+teams. I agree EMEA should have more teams but I put the ceiling on 4/(5 if the win) because it seems uneccesary to have so many teams. Its better having more representation of other regions. If u have 6 EMEA u cant put them all in seperate groups (I mean riot did it with 4 anyways but they wont do it again). Masters are still global LAN events and we wanna see the different regions clash it out, not 6 EMEA teams playing against each other and potentially having like 4-8 games between the same region

Its just taking slots away from other regions. I rather wanna see one more korean and 3 south american teams instead of 2 more EMEA teams wich will mess up the seeding and let us watch w groups with 2 EMEA teams

Its not even a problem, only problem is 2 EMEA teams in the same group, if they did it the othrr way seeding matches get completly irrelevant. Atm u had better odds getting an easy group with high seeding. Sometimes u get unlucky but thats just how it is

Not really, they wanna prevent teams from throwing also seed 1 can only play seed 2s in the first round and I think u cant meet your other group seed until grand finals. So instead of a vs b it might be a vs c or d but in the end its kinda the same
