fair, i think rb is still better than those 4 (foxy, texture, sylvan, meteor), at the very least better than foxy and meteor

posted 10 months ago

this ascension is shaping up to be probably the closest one out of the 3 leagues which is honestly pretty hype

we almost had a scenario where all 5 teams in alpha went 2-2

posted 10 months ago

there's no way you think sylvan, t3xture, foxy9 are better than him
you didn't even put him in honorable mentions bro

posted 10 months ago

i think after tokyo we can all agree for the most part lock//in results mean nothing at this point

teams were all new
eg 9-16th lock in, 2nd tokyo
prx 1st rounded lock in, 3rd tokyo
liquid/edg first rounded lock in, 5-6th
navi 3-4th lockin, winless in tokyo

etc...

fnc is just fnc, can't argue with that
liquid choked 12-7 lead and got smoked map 3
fnc > americas > emea

posted 10 months ago

i dislike fnc cause i wanna see new winners
21/22 at least new winner every event (even if i was watching optc vs loud every other game last year)

posted 10 months ago

yay
finesse
marved
victor
crashies

i think this roster would have a pretty good chance

posted 10 months ago

there will be 2 league splits next year

posted 10 months ago

threw that one away already, you changed to a sentinels flair

posted 10 months ago

inexperienced ≠ bad

look at how jakee and runi did on c9
or alfajer on fnc when he was picked up last year
or something on prx
the list goes on

posted 10 months ago

closest team to winning

they've played 2 games dude

riot would probably just let the full roster ascend though

posted 10 months ago

dubstep is on the list already bro

shaz?????? that's gotta be racist somehow

posted 10 months ago

the difference tho is that prx is already proven - the core was 4th/2nd at masters last year, hell this current version got a podium placement WITHOUT him, so he knows if he's there they have a shot

what has koi proven? what has giants proven?

nothing to do with me being an "overdefending prx fan", i just don't see the reasoning behind your argument
region's success ≠ every team's success
a similar comparison: would ardiis or s0m leave NRG for koi? would mako leave DRX for giants (language barrier aside)? would kk leave EDG for these teams? if the answer is no, idk why you would think smth would do the same

posted 10 months ago

lol mb, my parents are from sg but i grew up in america so i use american flag

posted 10 months ago

why is this guy a pacific hater

bro has made 3 billion comments about how something should go back to emea bc pacific sucks + now this

yea our region sucks but there's still hope (drx & prx have shown the potential already, just need to overcome that 1 final step)

posted 10 months ago

not sure if you know but you can socialize with people of other ethnicities
bro is acting like he would never talk to a non russian

he seems to be vibing and having fun on prx + this roster has championship potential so why leave to start from scratch?

posted 10 months ago

well, i'd rather not get involved in the whole "emea 1/2team region" debate, it just ends up devolving into NA and EMEA users whining about whose region is better, lol

i do see your point

posted 10 months ago

i'm usually a big pacific fan but even i gotta agree watching some of these pacific ascension games, the amount of mistakes being made in this competition is astounding and the level of play here is nowhere near americas or EMEA ascension (at least some of the top teams, i don't follow EMEA T2 that closely)

this entire region has 2 good teams and 1 of them is currently at their lowest point yet (DRX, T1 still too unproven for me)

posted 10 months ago

if they don't get anything now, CN will fall behind heavily in the future (look at how far EDG has come since their debut last year b/c of their intl experience), china has plenty of players aswell

plus rito gotta make that chinese bank 🔥🔥🔥

posted 10 months ago

prx won't give up something (plus, idk why he'd want to move from a championship contending team to a current bottom tier team and have to start from scratch)

posted 10 months ago

c0m is apparently an important midrounder for eg though, idk if trent/brawk would bring the same impact

posted 10 months ago

codey is the coach

posted 10 months ago

have a teammate shoot it or i think you can dodge it

in a 1v1 raze ult is just as good

posted 10 months ago

bro did not watch the match, s0m was carrying the entire map of pearl but lost 1 clutch and everyone thinks he's the problem

sure he lost a pivotal round but they wouldn't have even gotten there without him

posted 10 months ago

recency bias goes crazy
yay is still just as good his team just sucks and he's trying to overcompensate, as a result taking worse duels

also put some respect on boostio

posted 10 months ago

canadian roster would actually fry though

posted 10 months ago

where an org is based will influence the nationalities of players they pick up
ex: kc (french org) picks up an all french-speaking roster

plus, many orgs retained at least 2-3 players from their previous roster, which will inherently influence the major nationality of that team's roster

ofc there are exceptions, but most of the time this is how it goes

posted 10 months ago

OpTic Gaming 😁

posted 10 months ago

he might not return ever :(

posted 10 months ago

parents are sg but i'm american so not too sure

BUT from what i know, you need a very important reason in order to defer NS, usually the reasons to defer are you either attend polytechnic (school) beforehand or you have something really critical you need to be there for

and cultural wise video games really aren't seen as important as competing in traditional sports i suppose

champs doesn't "have to" be his last event, he could always return afterwards, but i think his mom said in a stream or something he didn't want to return and wanted to pursue his studies

posted 10 months ago

no shot you put 3 teams from the same region in the same group

posted 10 months ago

just get the optic roster
NA superteam

posted 10 months ago

are you saying 1 masters = regional league bro

posted 10 months ago

yo why does literally everyone forget that ethan exists

posted 10 months ago

we have nobody and ninebody
what happened to onebody through eightbody?

posted 10 months ago

optic faced loud in both those grand finals
same placings as gambit (1st masters 2nd champs)
sen only dominated their one tourney (though it was very very dominant)

posted 10 months ago

newzera deserves a spot on this list, bro is goated

posted 10 months ago

not an ego i think, they've just been together since forever
would you leave your best bro out to dry

posted 10 months ago

tbh fns was kinda tearing it up at the end of tokyo
could have been just a one-off tho

posted 10 months ago

nrg beat TL though
i can understand firepower but NRG is one of the most tactically sound teams itw, their strats are always good

posted 10 months ago

why TL > NRG
why EG so low
also a bit early to call lcq winners

posted 10 months ago

crashies isn't his first name bro

posted 10 months ago

i'm rooting for pacific

if anyone deserves a trophy at this point, it's jinggg, or mako

esp jinggg since this is likely his last year ever of competing in valorant

posted 10 months ago

PRX's lotus might actually be looking better than EG's, EG got stomped harder than PRX did against fnc (debatable since 12-0), and PRX's lotus looked decent against EDG (nrg neon comp kinda bodied them tho)

posted 10 months ago

eg banned bind

posted 10 months ago

if it was one map sure, but losing 3 maps like that is different

posted 10 months ago

million dollars for each dollar

???

posted 10 months ago

prx with a sub got top 4 at tokyo

peak drx was top 3 at champs (maybe even grands/winners if they won one more map against OPTC)

t1 got grouped

i think mako knows

posted 10 months ago

NA has less talent

has bro watched NA challengers at all
