i understand what you’re saying, that no matter how bad your team is playing, the coach shouldn’t give up on them. i sorta agree, but you’re just being overly antagonistic towards alecks.
alecks watched them lose 9 rounds in a row and get their mental boomed to overtime.
he’s obviously frustrated and is expressing what he sees in that moment; they’re going to lose the game if they keep playing like that.
so when the next timeout happens, do you think he’s telling them to give up?
no, he’s encouraging them to close it out and win.

like, come on bruh. he loves them and that one comment doesn’t mean he gave up on them. he just said what everyone was thinking, and it unfortunately got broadcast to everyone. we could see the score. i think every prx fan was preparing to accept the loss when it hit ot.

if it were any other coach in this position they’d feel defeated too, or maybe even worse since alecks is used to prx shenanigans.

i think u just want to hate on them, honestly.
