if you watch gammax games they have a different playstyle, alexiik relies to much on his mechs and in bad days he looks like lost meanwhile paize is a smarter guy in his way of playing with great mechs. if you can’t watch gammax games and see what i mean just look at his vlr stats this year and last one, but also ranked stats as they mean a lot in the current state of the game where all the new prodigies are « ranked demons »

That’s the main idea, if m8 doesn’t stay in franchise next year navi should sign him the day after they get relegated.
If alexiiik can find a consistent good level as he showed yesterday it’s also a good choice to keep him.
pa1ze is in my opinion extremely underrated, he plays in mena and farms but last year he did rly good in DIA, also he is not full time rn so if he can find a t1 stability, leave uni i will not be shocked about him becoming a top tier duelist in emea.

Losing against a new team as already having a core since the start of the year is kinda crazy when you think about it. They got outaimed in a lot of situations and strats weren’t the main focus of this tournament as we all saw.
If tou have to be competitive this current roster is not the solution in my opinion, i was sceptic about alexiiik but yesterday he proved me wrong even tho he play bad today, inconsistency is fixable especially for a 19y duelist, shao is still insane, hiro is also incredible, ruxic looks a bit uncomfortable since a bit of time and replacing him could be an option. ange1 should be out by the end of the year.
Stage 2 will tell us but a great rebuild around hiro and shao (maybe alexiiik if he does good in stage 2) should be the main focus.
If alexiik doesn’t perform well in my opinion the rebuild should have a heavy carry or a great entry duelist, a younger igl to bring some firepower and a great flex.
i have some options :
duelist - pa1ze/purp0 (depends how he plays in JL)/Izzy/ Sayf if he comes back.
IGL : Starki (EP) / Rose (BCF, i just dk about his english) / roxie (Valiant).
Flex : not a lot of options in my mind but DaviH looks like a good one, no need if shao backs to recon and just keep ruxic.
Coach staff is also questionable, low or average winrate after timeouts and progression as a team is a big ?
AlexRr - from EP looks like a knowing guy, just won emea t2 and if they can get him + starki its perfect.
For AC they could stay with chippy (dont rly know his work and what did he bring) or try ange1 if he wants to.

izzy, xuss, pa1ze, even purp0 under a good wing would be 10x better pick. Also sayf is benched but idk about his contract.
Their goal is to be a 1% competitive team as they were in cs, if you want to achieve this goal you have to sign better players and not an average duelist from tier2, just look at games against « big » t2 teams they’re not that good, if you can’t look at stats and u’ll see a bit of what i mean.

Did it already happened that a guy got a verbal agreement with a team but didn’t sign with them?
Cus alexiiik got a verbal agreement almost a week ago with navi but they still didn’t announce him. Maybe trialing other options?

Also rn he is not fulltime if im not mistaking so doesnt show all of hks true potential. just look at one of his matches with gammax and u’ll see how good this guy is in therm of mechs, if you cant just look at vlr stats and ranked stats, this guy is shooting. If he has a good igl by his wing, which ange1 is it could really be a kajaak v2 and im not crazy saying that.

it means a lot, just exceptions sometimes)) if you check well all good players (99%) of them have good stats in ranked. of course sometimes it can be different as it could be with xuss but when you look at prime fpx (copenhagen) they all had a lot of ranked games and insane stats, prob why they won the event as not being favourites in the start

yeah, he looks insane since last year idk how he didn’t got picked up by any teams during the off season.
the only doubt i have about xuss is his poor ranked stats, if he frags in officials no problem but what i find strange is that all the insane duelists even from t2 have +/- 1.25 to 1.40kd in ranked and same in officials. But xuss is insane in t2, and not rly good in ranked (1.06kd).

today on ardiis stream he said that they’re trying a turkish duelist but ardiis has cNed, shao and ange1 in his friendlist.
As you can see on @vctscrims picture of navi prac (photo comes from ardiis friendlist) cned is not with them.
Then the only turkish possibilities were comeback (but he got signed by M8 so it’s not him) then it could be Best who got dropped by Fener esport, or it could be options like izzy (if it’s him in my opinion, navi couldn’t get a better signing meanwhile closing eyes on comeback, i just don’t know about izzy’s english but should be ok). They were alr scrimming without him past days, all 4 were playing dms and then just disappear which should mean they just warmup before pracs. pa1ze was warming up on same timings so could be him replacing koala. Also he played ranked with hiro 4-5days ago (probably after pracs).

sayf on duelist would be fire, considering he has ange1 to bait for him. he will do +30 every game because of his insane mechanics not like koala who is insane with op but average with rifle. navi doesn't really need a heavy entry player considering ange1 is there, that's why in my opinion sayf would be a perfect fit

strats in t2 isnt same that in tier1, this year maybe it wasn't bad against mid table teams like kc but getting smashed by heretics when ur goal is to be one of the best teams in the world is not only a "players" issue, coach has a big responsability. koala is a problem, there are a lot better options than him in emea, maybe less vibe merchants but i think individual skill is a priority compared to a clown making the team smile. then im doubting about the coach also, a force buy for navi has more chances to be lost, anti strat looks good on bad teams like M8 (who practiced 3 days with a new roster) but on bigger ones it looks terrible. so if koala can't go without happy going, kicking the 2 would be a better choice. if he can stay, then lets see in split 2 if he's really good))

xuss could be a good option, i also think that pa1ze looks promising and would fit the roster well as he looks way better on raze than koala and navi are playing the agent a lot, also he's friend with hiro.
purp0 is a clear wasted talent, taking him as a non representative would fit good. also, he explained in his telegram post that he had mental/confidence issues in gx which lead to bad performances even tho he looked crisp sometimes. i think that navi has 2 perf coach who can help with this stress/confidence issue.
Thinking about Izzy also, but idk about his english.
There are more options like bipo, elllement, zachkappa but idk if they are rly better than koalanoob
