Started watching first time today. Only 2 episodes but seemed good.

But the question is: is he good enough to potentially take Trexx away from Raze role and put him on flasher agents or something like that? Hopefully he will do good, but role swaps are almost certainly going to happen and for that I'm bit worried.

Apparently there was some problems between Guild and Twisten/BIG so Guild decided to loan Yacine instead. I guess they didn't just have time to negotiate properly or something like that. And Yacine is cheaper tier 2 and has experience playing in Guild. Pretty big L for Guild tho and I'm bit scared for them. But Yacine has potential I think because Raze meta.

It was "official" post from Cojo or whatever his name was and it said that Yacine would be joining Guild for LCQ instead of players like Russ or Twisten.

Actually true, but at least Fnatic has good IGL+coach combo (structure) and only swap other players, while G2 CS just can't land on one when their starplayer seems to have a lot of power and doesn't trust his IGLs etc.

G2 will never win anything. They will end up having same problems as they did with Aleksib/XTQ and then replace Hooxi after couple bad tournaments and cycle continues. Can't win with Niko.

I just don't know about the roles, because Twisten most known for Raze and Jett, but Russ played flashers and stuff like that. But based on firepower and potential(Twisten being young player) this is definitely upgrade. Just don't know about how quickly he could pick up new role. Unless someone else changes, but tbh I wouldn't want to see that. Because I feel like someone like Trexx could take Russ' role since he already used to play some of them IIRC while Twisten could become their entry.

Why is it bad pickup tho? They had their reasons to pick him up out of all the others. So they clearly see potential in him. They needed proper IGL, but there isn't many in EMEA right now.

Its true that he has had pretty terrible 2022 so far, but 2021 showed us that he can be really impactful player.

Hopefully he gets back to his top form. Was bit underwhelming this year, but his potential is high.

You should watch some lists on YouTube or something. You should go to some store and test them out if you can as well. I have Dior Homme 2020 myself and its pretty good and fresh but pretty generic as well. Brands like Dior, YVES, JPG, D&G etc have multiple good options. Its all just personal taste and also about the use. Some fragrances are better for nightlife while they may not suit work as well etc.

Tenstar actually looks really promising tbh. Interesting to hear about the scrim stuff, just asking where did you get this info? Interesting to know which Tier 2 teams are good scrim teams.

Kind of true. He has definitely performed worse after Masters 1 and joining Vitality. He had some good games especially on later half of French VRL, but overall he looked better on KOI. Also I'm always bit concerned about Reyna picks overall, because for me those just tell that maybe the player isn't comfortable playing other agents just like when Jugi played Reyna on Split. Could be wrong tho and maybe its just team choice.

You need to remember that Google "trends" don't show everything though. Valorant as newer game and as game that is getting constant updates is obviously going to get more Google Searches than 10 year old game with little updates. That doesn't mean that the interest or split between playerbase are similar percentages. For example I don't even remember when I have googled "CSGO" last time when I can just open Steam and CSGO from there. No reason to google it.

I think there's just so many reasons why there's so little good IGLs and heres 2 main ones that came to mind:

1. Not only do you have to be good individually like every pro (even someone like FNS has better mechanics than like >95%? of all Valorant players) but you also have to understand and see the game in very high level, be creative, and even in a lot of cases you also need certain leader mentality. And you have to be able to do all that during games.
2. Its hard to become good IGL without much of experience. Most respected IGLs are pretty old and IGL is just that role where you might peak when you are 30 year old. Just look at someone like Karrigan. So its overall just really hard role to start with or become. And you can't really practice it as effectively as other roles.

Hard to say out of any known ones, but there's def some hidden gems in tier 2 or even 3 scene who just need better structure or stability knowing how needy IGLs work can be.

Same as mine, but I have Liquid winning finals vs Guild. But I feel like people might be sleeping on Acend little. They looked decent in EMEA playoffs for relatively young team(monsteerr and vakk) and cNed finally looked comfortable on Chamber. Obviously they got rid of zeek who seemed to be their main caller so that will def change things up. But if L1NK is in decent form then they could also do some damage. But also the competition is pretty good so understandable.

Could be decent. Hard to say. We haven't seen dimasick in quite long time, but what I remember he was decent. And he also has good amount of experience from CSGO and Valorant so maybe he is taking the IGL role? This team has a lot of firepower already so that isn't problem.
