I'm so confused of this C9 roster? Zellsis, Xeppaa, Yay and Leaf have all been duelist/flex players. Like there has to be many role changes.

Why not? Also I don't know how sport deals work, but I would imagine its more for the org to make the decision. If he doesn't accept they can just bench him or something. Liquid doesn't seem to be org like that, but I would imagine them being pretty willing to sell him if KCorp pays well. They can make some money back as long as Scream is with contract. Also he can stay with his brother and compete in mother tongue for clouted team. And we don't know how the team is right now and do they have same vision etc. Like imagine if Liquid wanted to get rid of Nivera, Scream likely wouldn't accept that.
He plays for MAD Lions (ex-TENSTAR). Was arguably best Chamber in French VRL. He used to be controller main when he entered Valorant if I'm not wrong and there was quite a lot of hype around him. Came from French CSGO if I'm not wrong.
If they have money:
Scream - duelist
Nivera - sentinel
xms - maybe smokes? he played Chamber, but used to be controller main.
Enzo - initiator
plus 1
Yes he is really good, but they are going to sign FPX -Ardiis(?) so keeping Cloud wouldn't make sense. Also he would be completely wasted as 6th player. Guy is starter level easily. Don't know about possible visa issues.
With Zywoo its understandable because young, but NiKo has been in multiple teams and they never work.
NiKo is same in CSGO and still 0 majors
Half of FPX isn't from CIS, Ardiis included.
fuck
I don't think Jugi is ready for tier 1 yet and don't know much about Lauress.
It may not make sense, but I kind of hope this happens even as much as I like Liquid core. Scream is good player, but I believe if they got rid of him and Nivera (package deal) and picked up good free agents like Redgar and nAts and then added some other duelist they could become better than what they are now. But I'm not mad if they stick with the brothers, I just think it would benefit TL and KCorp. Even if you watch Sliggy he has always kind of implemented that Scream was the problem and honestly I kind of believe him. I would want to see TL going different direction.
Yeah I also doubt they would separate them. I actually kind of hope KCorp bought them and Liquid build on Jamppi, nAts, Redgar (soulcas?) core if I'm honest. I think it would be really exciting even if it pissed off some fans.
Hopefully, but -Soulcas would just feel kind ofwrong IMO. I think he has looked better than Nivera for most of this year and Nivera's role also clashes with nAts'. Maybe they are planning on moving Nivera to be the initiator player? Would make sense I guess.
Maybe Jamppi was baiting, but while in queue he was hovering his mouse over nAts' profile for some time and checked his career. It has to be intentional because it wasn't just random. Only question is that is he hinting or baiting.
EG also quiet on Summoner's Rift
they are trolling if they go for french speaking team
I mean yeah he is likely going to stay in esport and return, but not instantly. That was my point.
I'm pretty sure he retired because of wrist problems so dunno will he return to Valorant. He even had same problems while in X10.
LETS GO timezone is just so shit for EU. First game starts 11PM and last game 6AM lol back to Overwatch League days Sadge
True. For now its kind of bad, but for future its good when new talent comes up.
ofc he will get into partnered team as long as G2 is willing to sell him for reasonable price. Wouldn't be too surprised if they wanted to stick with him even if they go to NA.
Because he isn't top tier and has already reached his potential. He only gets to keep his spot as one because of clout. Team like G2 should have let go off him ages ago, but only kept him presumably because of his follower count. He is pretty mid tier 1 player who still wants to be the star of the team. He isn't terrible and had good games, but overall his role compared to impact feels pretty meh. One of the least inspiring pro players in Valorant for me personally. That is why I will sleep on any team that adds him. No hate.
The Weeknd is at least most consistent mainstream artist. Many bangers.
I play like 1 game per month so not really
BONECOLD - initiator/IGL
baddyG - controller
Cender - sentinel/Chamber
cNed - duelist/Chamber
Molsi - flex/entry (Raze, KayO, Skye etc can also play Sova)
only problem is that what happens with Chamber situation. If cNed doesn't play it then what does he play because he doesn't play Raze for example. And if Cender doesn't play Chamber then what he plays.
Salah is really nice addition. I think he showed a lot of potential while in OGLU.
And cNed is bit hard to say. I think many are underrating him, me included. Its just that he has showed really high peaks on OP and rifle, but seems to be lacking in flexibility. It took long for him picking up Chamber(may have just been Acend). So I'm excited about him, but not that excited at same time. He could be anything from potential MVP of 2023 to being really disappointing.
but all in all I like these pickups. They just need to add flex/duelist player who can add good firepower. Maybe someone like Molsi as some trial rumors say?
cNed & Molsi could be really nice duo tbh. Would be really underrated in eyes of some, but I think they could seriously do damage.
That is true, but: Cender is solid sentinel player. He has been in tier 2 of EU for so long while usually being one of the better parts of Vitality. He has really killed it in tier 2 of EMEA as Chamber and still has the ability to play other sentinel agents on good level. I think he finally deserves a shot in tier 1 and who knows how well he could do. Like even guys like Monsteerr did well individually. He has been consistent for long time.
Also baddyG could very well be one of the best individual controller players in EMEA. In EMEA most controllers are IGLs, so there isn't many Marved, Mako type players. But if you want to get good individuals controller player in EMEA then baddyG is really good option.
BONECOLD is the IGL and even tho I'm still not 100% sure how good he is at it, you still have to remember that he has bunch of experience and has gotten results.
I think overall you can't get much better than Cender and baddyG on their roles, not from players who aren't on a team yet unless you got like nAts and even still he has many bidders. So all in all if they added cNed and some flex who can actually frag they could be pretty good. And this is coming from guy who hasn't been the most impressed by Vitality in VRLs.
It is unfortunately, but you need to remember that many teams have coaches already. And many teams even ones like Giants, Heretics etc may keep their existing coaches and just give them higher budgets to work with. I would imagine there isn't many coach slots available and you for example saw Vitality taking Salah instead. Also I don't know about Enghh's situation with location etc. Is he still in Russia, or did he leave with other M3C guys. And don't know how well he could lead in English. Same with guys like Redgar. Its hard to say for guys who don't have much experience playing in English speaking teams. It could take some time. Even if their English skills are good enough.
but really hope he finds a team in tier 1 and he 100% deserves it based on what we know
Superteams fail all the time in esports. Sometimes they work like LOUD and FaZe CSGO, but I usually they fail more often.
He is baiting at this point. Also as some people have already said the ping looks like its from Brazil, so that could just tease that he is going to play in Sao Paulo aka get into franchising team and travel there for next year's tournament. Also all the traveling just feel off when he has been streaming from same room for few days. Like first he was apparently in Paris, streaming and then he was in Barcelona(could be streaming from here tho), and then 21 hour later from last stream he is in Brazil or NA with a setup out of nowhere. It just doesn't add up when we know he was in Europe 100% due to ping on EU servers.
Monster is really good and underrated. His recent stats doesn't just show that. Really smart, good aim and young.
Nah he is baiting 99% sure because VRL ping analysis got some popularity
Why would 100T get rid of Bang when he is like 2nd best NA smoker
He is only there because nAts has many fans. It was mainly NA list just because it gives bigger viewership, but wasn't exclusive I don't think. Just that people in chat were asking because nAts is pretty popular player. And 8 as rating is understandable because he definitely has many many offers as being arguably top 1 or 2 non-Chamber sentinel player.
I mean its almost 100% war related. Not only do Russian guys have to live in fear of potentially getting drafted if they don't leave their home country, but also them getting on franchising teams will be harder than for rest. Really risky to pick up due to potential visa issues etc. And if they want to avoid this then they would have to move to Serbia or something and imagine doing that as only 18 year old guy.
Its not easy for mental.
it can be something else, but realistically the war has affected every Russian player and made their lives and chances harder as well.
For example here in Finland we are country of 5.5 million and we share long border with unpredictable country with aggressive history like Russia/USSR. Simply impossible to keep strong enough professional(paid) defense force. Having conscription not only makes your defense stronger in case of war, but it also works as deterrent. Attack = its going to be expensive and hard. We are relatively small nation, but have war time strength of 280 000 and reserve of 900 000, that is really good for our needs and compared to what Russia would push over the border.
Also about the leg thing is that here every man has to serve before they turn 28(?) (starts 18, and most go year or two later) unless they have reason not to or do civil service or go to jail. So even if you broke your leg as long as it heals back to normal you will have to go to draft again and serve eventually.
Yes they will 100%. No tier 1 player will accept a spot as bench warmer. Even for most tier 2 players that will not be something they accept lightly. Most 6th players will be players with no ambitions. Unless the team actually decides to use the 6th man often but I doubt it. Also someone falling sick really isn't an problem. That's rare and even in Valorant we have seen teams subbing in players like H1ber, Enzo, SEIDER, Masked, Jammyz that are/were all tier 2 players and for those it was a positive thing just joining in for 1 tournament, but being bench warmer is completely different thing and just negative for their careers.
My prediction is that majority of teams will just sign some tier 2 or 3 level player to work as mandate 6th man. Its just too hard to make 6th man roster where you swap players between maps work I think. This may happen in some Asian teams, but western will just keep main 5 and have some random bench warmer.
They are following their LoL LCS way.
EMEA got fucked by their map pools and that won't be as big of an issue next year. So we good and will see next year ;)
