Depends on groups, but NaVi. They are still insane roster, but keep fucking themselves up by playing weird comps and switching them all the time. If they just stick to solid comps and by doing that improved on timings etc they would go head to head vs the best.

I was sure NaVi would go for Sayf because he felt like natural replacement for Ardiis.

Like back in Champions 2021 when Acend was still like only team playing Omen and won the Championship. Also EMEA plays Cypher so Viper isn't needed. With same logic I could say that Americas play Astra strictly for comfortability with Omen being super meta on the map now (with Cypher).

posted about 2 years ago

My point is that calling something meta when they haven't won anything meaningful with it is just non sense. I go back to my earlier point but I think you would have called Harbor on Icebox meta while Fnatic were dominating that map with normal old school comp. And funnily enough I saw Harbor Icebox in tier 2 of EMEA before DRX(?) even played it so which teams actually make "metas".

posted about 2 years ago

100T would lose to Liquid's Omen so would that make Omen meta on Bind?

posted about 2 years ago

EMEA wasn't behind on Chamber meta IIRC, only OpTic was running it like crazy before others catched up. And as I said double controller (assuming you mean Harbor/Viper) isn't proven meta outside of like Pearl. That's like saying Americas is behind on Lotus meta because they don't play Fade as much.

posted about 2 years ago

In what way? Pearl is like the only map where you can make that argument. Just because EMEA teams dont play Harbor as much doesnt mean they are behind in terms of comps. Example Fnatic owned Icebox by playing the most basic comp ever. Also Americas teams always copy LOUD while EMEA teams dont copy Fnatic as much.

Reykjavik 2022 and it isn't even close. EMEA was pretty much missing their best and 2nd best(3rd seed but everyone knew FNC>G2). Nothing else comes even close. People who call Champions 2021 fluke are just dumb.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah Heretics 2-0d them in RedBull so obviously Heretics is better than FUT!

posted about 2 years ago

Current FUT would own 100T and it wouldn't even be close

C9 threw OT I feel like. Sova hard baited Breach, Leaf running in alone on retake, no one holding A heaven, Jakee walking in through smoke etc but ofc easy to say as silver

Yeah I was thinking of Falcons as well because remember them making it to like top 3 one event.

posted about 2 years ago

Impossible to say. But they went from Masters 3 victory to Champions finals.

posted about 2 years ago

Maybe like Rocket League? Not like really international, but EU and NA are both pretty equal if I'm not wrong and don't they also have some decent Brazilian teams? Also R6S is pretty internationally competitive and I've seen EU, NA, BR and even APAC teams.

posted about 2 years ago

FPX went through group stage with a sub and after getting Suygetsu back they went undefeated IIRC and won the whole thing. Why would you discount their victory? Masters 1 2022 didn't have EMEA's first seed and Fnatic were missing 2 of their players one of them being their star. Like I'm pretty sure you can argue that M1 wasn't the most competitive Masters and the final results could have been different with FPX and Fnatic in.

and I'm talking about regional games here. Last year NA teams got so many praises for beating each other week after week, while EMEA teams got shit because we actually had some consistent teams who didn't lose to teams they shouldn't.

posted about 2 years ago

Its legit always been the opposite. EMEA team wins = they won because enemy bad. NA team wins = they won because they were good. Even your comment shows this with "first time in EMEA league they’ve actually had some competition". So nice try.

Cloud used to play Sova, Fade, KayO, Skye, Raze etc he would be good fit role wise.

nAts better Cypher IMO

Yep I thought Fnatic and NaVi being locked, TL likely being locked and last spot was for any of the rest. Predicted Giants, but FUT definitely looked the strongest out of GIA/VIT/FUT.

Burritos. I hate eating those crunchy tacos so messy and breaks easily. Soft tacos are good tho and close to burrito.

because EU has good Cypher players

Just a guess but in Americas there's many pros with Asian background and most Asian countries are short on average and if I'm not wrong South Americans are pretty short on average as well. Even Canada and USA aren't that tall on average compared to many countries in Europe. And for Pacific like I said average height in many parts of Asia is pretty low. Like compare South Korea average height of 170cm to Sweden's 180cm etc.

Yep its good and would imagine being really nice when in actual raid(still haven't played DSC). I personally love the songs that play while you afk in menu with your ship just floating there. Really cozy songs in that game.

I don't get people who call them disapointing? I've believed in this roster since leak, but pre Lock In everyone was saying how this team will be bad, 0 firepower etc. But now out of nowhere them not making it to top 4 is disapointing like what? And I said this before but they looked really bad vs FUT and BBL in regular season but were pretty close vs all the other teams Fnatic and NaVi included.
and FUT have been playing well and definitely deserve to go to Tokyo

Football - to watch
Ice Hockey - to watch
Floorball - to play
Tennis - to watch
Badminton - to play

Also always like watching Olympics so all of the sports there are kinda enjoyable, never been sport person so that's why watching>playing

best sport to play
you get to play with a stick, on your feet instead of skates and also playing with light ball is better compared to buck IMO. You can do cool stuff with it.

I would likely go for:
Boaster - smokes, IGL
Mistic - flasher agents/flex
Soulcas - initiator
Ardiis - duelist
Lime - sentinel

you could also consider players like Keiko, Luzuh, L1NK, Russ etc

Yep but tbf Americas just uses the LCS studio so they shouldn't have many issues while EMEA one is completely new studio.

I could be wrong but I feel like NA teams rely way too much on preperation. Cloud9 likely spent most of their time preparing for NRG and when that didn't happen they look pretty bad. We already saw this during last years when NA teams would beat each other left and right because they got 1 week preparation time before every game.

posted about 2 years ago

I mean it was either Giants, FUT or Vitality with the top 3(if NaVi qualify should right?). I would have predicted it being Giants but they looked pretty off. I think FUT is the most likely out of the 3 and I kind of hope that they qualify.

My go to, but chat isn't very good IMO but can't really expect more from Valorant chat and definitely upgrade over main or other watchparties.

Finnish - most goated language and it isn't even close.
English - so used to hearing and really neutral language in my mind
Latin - just sounds cool af and mighty
Japanese - meh but sounds kind and smooth
Swedish - couldn't think others because most languages suck ass but Swedish definitely best out of Scandi languages and sounds happy

Worst is Dutch or Vietnamise
