NaVi would do well if they just stick to normal comps. They have everything to be good, but destroyed their chances by playing weird Yoru comps. FUT Esport looked bit shaky whole tournament and if they can work to fix their mental(nervous) they will look better. Also they had pretty rough playoffs and had to show a lot. And whoever would make it as 5th isn't that bad. Likely Giants knowing what happened to Vitality. They had on and off games and just need to find consistency.
Not really comparable to Fnatic. SEN had Dephh and TenZ.
Depends on region etc but around gold.
FUT underperformed bit I think. They didn't look as bad in EMEA. People will call it cope, but FUT looked shaky most of the tournament. And I fully believe NaVi would look good if they just stick to normal comps and actually practised them enough. Not playing random troll comps and throwing off all timings, synergy etc. They have everything to do really well in LCQ and Champs if they are serious.
Better to be one team region than 0 team region
That's like calling Europe/Denmark one team region during prime Astralis
Not instantly but in time yes I believe. EU CS is so deep and is taking a lot of talent. So many ambitious and super talented players. Like even if you look at right now EMEA has bunch of talent while CS dominates a lot of European market (relevant esport countries)
EMEA is pretty much Europe (+Turkey if you don't count them) alone if you didn't know.
If anything I think Boaster is the best individual player out of them outside of ANGE1's aim at times. ANGE1 and Redgar both do so many bad individual plays while Boaster always plays pretty smart, safe and has good utility. He doesnt make similar braindead plays.
Redgars utility lost them the game I feel like. Shit smokes and shit tps.
NRG are lucky that TL decided to choke on Haven. But that Split was embarassing from Liquid outside of couple of rounds.
There's quite a chance that LOUD would have gotten grouped if they didn't win Americas. They would have had to get past NRG/EDG, or EG/DRX. And looking how mediocre they looked its really possible they would have gotten grouped. Also your argument kind of goes against you as well. 3rd or 4th slots are not supposed to do well in a tournament of top 3/4 of EMEA, Americas and Pacific + top 2 China. The fact that you treat those as equals to your best already tells quite a lot.
NRG are barely beating Liquid and LOUD went 0-2 lol
EG and FNC are so above of the rest
if TL wouldn't have thrown Haven we wouldn't have even been here unlucky
Kind of looks like it. I usually rate Koldamenta, but seeing how bad KOI has looked I'm not sure anymore. To their defense Russ never really activated on that roster, but even still. Also Sayf was always really good but I think he truly activated during Copenhagen and has looked insane ever since. LCQ was just a mess because of Twisten/Yacine situation and low prep time.
this would be the optimal KCorp roster 100% but I would maybe switch Takas and Scream roles
Should just disband. How do you lose the most winnable game. They threw so many rounds.
No joo Alfajer on varmaa tällä hetkellä parempi, mut omasta mielestä sä voisit kutsuu kumpaa vaan parhaaks. Less pelaa enemmän Viperiä ku taas Alfajer Cypheriä et kai se riippuu et mitä arvostaa enemmän. Omasta mielestä Alfajer luottaa enemmän omaa aimiin ku Less on ehkä pikkasen enemmän semmonen nAts tyylinen jolla on just ajotukset ja päätöstenteko tosi hyviä.
Individually I would say so. They have top 3 if not even the best on every role pretty much.
Derke arguably best duelist
Leo arguably best initiator
Chronicle arguably best flex
Alfajer arguably best sentinel (IMO 2nd)
and Boaster is likely top 3 IGL, but people like to argue about this.
like only early 2021 Sentinel gets close to this on individuals and even then its more impressive in 2023.
Yeah dont really get it. And I could be completely wrong but remember Liquid taking quite a lot of space while today they just afked sites and looked lost. Constantly getting shot from behind.
Maybe but how can you rate them on same level if they clearly got outclassed? You could say same about any team.
Not really the reason tbh. Denmark is one of the best esport countries in the world even with their 5.8 million population. Its just that CSGO is really popular in the Nordics and most of Denmark's best and up and coming are playing CSGO.
no shit rest of EMEA is weak when Fnatic broke their mental ages ago. Its like they are cheating.
No hate towards Soulcas, but agreed. Or put Jamppi on Soulcas' position and sign initiator main. Either try to poach a player like Trexx, Cloud (doubt they would sell) or sign some tier 2 talent. There's much talent in tier 2 and will become more clear after Ascension.
Neither of them will make it likely. If EMEA wins Tokyo its going to be NaVi and Giants who make it. Vitality would have been good candidate but I doubt they will perform well with a new player after what happened. NaVi just has to get more comfortable with normal comps and they would become good again. Giants had some stinker games and looked pretty bad in playoffs, but have potential.
Yup he keeps doing same stuff and getting shit on. Also that round on C defense where EG Astra ults C. Redgar from platform just Omen flashes in and solo peaks through Astra wall and dies. And then Jamppi just Breach ults from backside and walks in gets 1 and dies(unless I missed 3rd TL player). Like maybe peak together or combo utility? Annoying to watch at times. Like they look over confident while also looking shaky at same times its weird.
So you are saying EMEA 2nd just shat on NA 1st yesterday?
Liquid's teamwork looked bad today. So much individual stuff from them while not having the mechanics to bail out. While EG played well from each other.
America's 1st seed is back at Brazil already.
Not really. NRG won one of the pistols and they won like 3 rounds with lower buy. Gun rounds were not that close at all.
Ethan utility is really nice. You can clearly see he is a experienced ex-tier 1 CSGO player.
He is high confidence based type of player. If he starts well he will likely perform well rest of the match, but if he gets shit on early then he will continue playing poorly. You can easily see this and even Sliggy said that he needs confidence.
He played bad, but Liquid's strats and teamwork looked really bad as well. So much individual playmaking and they looked pretty lost with this comp.
terribly played by Liquid like what the fuck was that
Kinda but tbf Derke doesn't really have to do any heavy lifting because of his team. While Sayf had to carry Liquid at start of season and is still big part of their firepower. Derke just goes in and entries and can sit rest of the round.
Would put EG 2nd, TL 3rd for now
we will be getting the real el classico in the finals Fnatic vs Liquid
Yes but it will be slightly nerfed after bullet update
