just look at their comp
sova - bonecold
astra - cned
jett - starxo
cypher - kiles
kay/o - zeek

just feels kind of bad for tenstar, since this would be good pracc for them, but understandable from acend

posted about 3 years ago

They have looked pretty good. Hard to say since the opponents aren't that good.

I would keep nukkye and Avova. Those 2 are some of the best EU has to offer in their roles. All the other parts are replaceable IMO.

This year's major just feels so scuffed. Pretty much everything about it. Last majors felt so good and professional.

That is true, but Gambit played pretty bad in 2nd half of Icebox. And even the fact that they went like 2-10 on defensive side against non Sage comp is just super bad. Even the last round before possible OT was 3v1 for Gambit and they literally threw that so bad. It was great clutch from Hiko, but the way how Gambit approached that was super bad. 100T played well and showed strong mental strength, but saying that Gambit played their normal level is just wrong.

More like Gambit choked against 100T. They were dominating, but couldn't close it out. Classic Gambit.

tbh they were playing on new map

would be really nice matchup to see

If I'm not wrong there's some problems inside the team, or at least nukkye has said that he won't play in G2 next year if they keep ?player? in the team. There's been speculations that it might be keloqz, but not sure. And I feel like G2 is org that will do changes no matter after somewhat failed year.

posted about 3 years ago

Guild + SMB mix could be really good. As long as they can communicate well enough obviously.

Isn't this going to be G2's last tourney as this 5 man roster?

imagine saying that to current best team in the world kekvv

People are really underrating ScreaM after not so successful Iceland run. Guy is still beast with rifle and one of the bests.

There's going to be a lot of chances with OW pro play going to next year, so teams are more willing to take risks and someone who is now good may not be as good next year. That team is already stacked in every role, so Patiphan will most likely be more like sub player who maybe specializes for 1 or 2 heroes. Also before he quit he was somewhat an prodigy, so he shouldn't have much problems going back especially when the game hasn't changed as much due to lack of new heroes and stuff.

Acend was having clear problems though. BONECOLD is usually good fragger even as IGL, but he seemed so overwhelmed by whole thing. Not that much experience + having to IGL against some of the top teams like VS and 100T. starxo was pretty quiet as well. I think the Acend that we saw in Berlin wasn't the best we could have seen while 100T where pulling some miracles. Hopefully they will fix this for Champions.

posted about 3 years ago

He isn't completely wrong though. There really isn't too many proper tournaments outside of masters/champions. Compared that to CSGO where they have big tournaments all the time. If you can't make a roster that can fight for masters/champions spots then its gg. Talking about big orgs.

posted about 3 years ago

I like his Kay/O, but Acend's roles are so weird now. Like starxo forced to play Astra, because BONECOLD doesn't play her.

posted about 3 years ago

Especially if all the players are on. Sadly that really wasn't the case in Iceland. Jamppi didn't have that great performance (partly due to Liquid's playstyle aka Jamppi go in) and ScreaM didn't really have as much value as he usually does. But even Nivera addition alone gives them so much firepower and they could truly make good run.

Good building blocks. Interesting to see will they go for full Swedish lineup or international.

I haven't had any noticeable bugs with Valorant (I don't play it much), but sometimes when I alt-tab out of some games I can't go back.

Part of Turkey and part of Russia are part of Europe (EU usually meaning Europe, not European Union in this context).

I don't think Sentinels would sign you, because they have pre existing synergy and good pieces on every role. Maybe if they disappoint in champions. I would much rather suggest approaching team like 100 Thieves that will do roster changes for next year. Just DM Nadeshot on Twitter or Instagram.

SKT T1 or Astralis, both have crazy achievements in 2 of the biggest esport games.

posted about 3 years ago

Finals will be 3-0. I don't think EDG or GenG can take a map from DK tbh. Maybe 3-1 if lucky.

Jett is still insane for OP players, so I don't see many picking Deadeye over Jett if playing OP. Jett knifes are still good even if they aren't as good as Deadeye sniper. And its better when switching away from main weapon, but I don't think its that big of a thing tbh. And I don't think it matters even if its less than $800, because its not that useful ability in gun rounds.

This agent is so made for Nivera and Jamppi. Both play Operator, both play sentinel agents time to time, Nivera's aim is fucking insane and Jamppi gets a lot of value with sheriffs. This agent has everything they need as long as its valued pick.

posted about 3 years ago

How is it fucked? You can buy Sheriff for $800 that does exact same thing. So pretty much every round. And when you have rifle why would you ever switch to this ability

FPX was shit in Worlds and one of their players was having wrist injuries. And Rogue was EU 3rd seed.

used to play a lot when it was still popular, nowadays really rarely if I'm bored.

Astralis changed 1 player and killed their 4 major team. Dev1ce and Bubzkji laughing rn

Maybe not pro, but Laski. In Finnish läski means fat, so the name Laski just looks weird

Why not? Its good pracc for champions.

This kinda hurts as EU fan :(. Not only would MAD have to win over the heavy favorites aka DK, but after that they would need to defeat T1 as well to even reach the finals. I mean its super unlikely that they would win over DK anyway, but even as idea.

Without saying my opinion this is completely understandable to be honest.
Seems like Sinatraa fans are on a hot streak downvoting every comment that supports this. I think its understandable that Riot doesn't want a guy who was accused of sexual assault represent their game in any form, and its understandable that there are people who don't want this either.

BONECOLD is good fragger, but he struggled on LAN (understandable due to pressure) and he struggled a little on some maps against teams like Gambit and SMB. But, otherwise he can frag. I would say that on average he is better than Kiles in that.

posted about 3 years ago

wayy to early to say that and based on their gameplay that isn't the case

I think both EMEA and NA are pretty equal tbh.
Gambit is beast team, Acend peak is really high (didn't really get there in Berlin), TL looks really solid and will only get better with time and Fnatic could be good even though I don't have that much faith in them.
While NA still has both SEN and Envy who can put on a show and their 3rd spot will be good as well.

i was sitting in my college class economics 202 when the teacher assigned a daunting group project. i have no friends so i had to join the remaining people in class. one of those remaining people was bonkar and i was distressed. i had heard the rumors about him doing 0 work and making the others do it and just using us for the grade, so i was not happy. but when we sat down to work on the project, he ascended into astral form and started conducting us and giving us every move to make. like clockwork, we began nailing the project together under bonkar’s lead. he did absolutely no work, yet he did all of the work through us. my economics professor said it was the best shit she’s ever seen, and asked how we even made a project like that. as i started to speak, bonkar wrapped his arms around me and slowly placed his hand over my mouth and softly whispered, “we don’t reveal our strats”

Finland (little hard due to similar roles):
Controller: BONECOLD
Entry duelist: Derke
then maybe have Jamppi, Hoody and H1ber flex around different roles or take someone like JESMUND idk. I don't really know many T2 Finnish players. You could find better alternatives for sure, but I still think this roster could be decent on some maps where they don't have to play double smokers or cypher.
