Yes you can when you are Fnatic. They know they will win anyway.
When he pulled up ulti in 1v3 its like "yep he won" lol
Smart play. They know they can't win and would just lose weapons so better to save.
Boaster usually puts up good numbers on LAN. Unfortunately it feels like he starts always underperforming on individual level on high stake games.
Both Alfajer and Enzo looked bit shaky and didn't perform to their online performance, but still won. Just shows the firepower this team has. Similar to team like OpTic who still play close even if yay or Victor isn't performing. Really hope Alfajer will start hitting though. But Shao also had bad first game and look at him now.
True. People always say how Europeans are the only ones who care about CSGO and CSGO is so much more popular, but EMEA still top region in Valorant. Other regions put all their energy on Valorant and are still worse. EMEA puts like 30% on Valorant and still so good and competitive. Valorant would be just dominated by European top teams if CSGO didn't exist.
On Ascent Guild individual looked shaky and were whiffing also they couldn't adapt to PRX at all and were constantly dying to lurks and stuff. And on Fracture is was close could have gone either way. PRX pretty much won because they sticked defuse behind Viper wall 12-11 and because of that they went to OT and PRX won.
Could have easily went to map 3. Just unlucky that none of Guild could spam the defuser down.
Not today, but tomorrow. He is on plane right now or just landed no time.
Whoever is on top has always the most haters, so I guess you are right. Just shows when there's 10+ threads when APAC #1 beats EMEA #3.
I mean they were just about to lose their map pick. Spike stick saved them.
What even happened? They were just defusing and no one sprayed or anything just one taps from one of them. Really uncoordinated. Reloading at same time etc..
They are though and they have proven that already by getting out of group A.
Let's not compare heavy prep team like Guild to Fnatic. PRX's style can and likely will cause issues to Fnatic 100%, but both Guild and Fnatic work differently. Just look at EMEA seeding games where Guild got destroyed by FPX and Fnatic because they didn't have enough time to prep or they didn't try to prep too hard. Guild relies a lot on that while Fnatic doesn't.
Just bad matchup for Guild and PRX being good team. Copium, but not copium: Guild relies a lot on preparation and they only had like 1 day to prepare against team like PRX that plays completely different compared to EMEA or even OpTic or KRU. PRX' playstyle alone causes Guild problems and on top of that PRX' players are popping while Guild' look shaky.
Russ was good before he joined Guild. One of best Skyes in EMEA. But its true he hasn't been putting numbers on Guild. I guess having Trexx, Sayf and Leo means that Russ doesn't have to frag as hard. But if he keeps performing like this for rest of tournament I don't see Guild keeping him tbh.
Sadly only Sayf is on right now. Other looks so shaky. Like how many kills has Leo out of any whiffed so far.
Guild players just shaky and can't adapt
I don't see anything wrong about that if you haven't been following PRX much. Last year they were pretty average team and yeah they performed in Masters 1, but so did Zeta and look at them and Japan now. If you don't follow their region or haven't heard anyone talking about them then I think its pretty understandable why you may not be that high on them. Also these are just individual predictions.
Also with teams like this its always hard to look at their regional play and wonder how they would do against international opponents.
This. Fnatic were the LANimal team last year, but for some reason a lot of people have forgotten this. Obviously we don't know about Alfajer and even Enzo looked quite shaky in Masters 1.
Leo, Shao, Enzo
idk why I just like every individual name and they go well as a pack. 2 of them are just their first names, but they are cool and every player from same region and playing same role. Short and all end to "o".
Why wouldn't they play on arena? Mistic was already confirmed to be negative.
Yeah I don't understand why they don't just swap FPX vs Fnatic and DRX vs LEV. I guess it could fuck scheduling going forward(?) but would be so easy solution.
I don't think that was too unexpected, because we had no idea how Acend would perform on LAN.
Ardiis most underrated Chamber. Change my mind. Always puts up good numbers, but doesn't get much recognition because he isn't flashy.
They can't predict the group outcome. If Guild would have placed 2nd in group A then they would have likely faced XSET and OpTic PRX.
But seems like PRX is playing tomorrow instead of 15th so that shouldn't be the cause unless they change the pairs. And Koldamenta tweeted that they will be playing against PRX tomorrow.
I mean the teams must know tho right? Its more that either the production just showed wrong graphic or VLR just fucked up or got wrong info. The teams don't rely on Riot production or VLR.
Wondering who is wrong here. Riot production or VLR.. pretty shitty if FPX had to play tomorrow while they don't have suygetsu yet.
Hard role to rate feel like because quite common role among IGLs. Someone like Boaster isn't crazy fragger, but he IGLs and has good utility.
This day is over already I'm living in the future
yeah but if you don't count today because its almost 11PM already and he is still in Serbia(?) obviously the games are during the day/evening so he has time in early day.
Seems like he will be playing against Fnatic. Suygetsu streaming right now... unless he quickly takes flight tomorrow.
Nah OpTic playing well, but KRU looks pretty bad as well
Without Marved OpTic would be already eliminated
Not their day. They have just looked boomed after first half of Split.
KRU looks so disappointing ngl feel like they ran out of gas
Yeah I feel like that as well. That's why I was so relieved when NTH won yesterday. Felt like FPX had higher chance to beat them.
Fnatic doesn't have Scandinavian. Finland > Scandinavian club.
LoL: Caps best player west has ever produced, Wunder, Bjergsen, Jensen, Zven 3 of those are some of the most known in LCS (NA), Broxah and some others, IMO best EU country when it comes to players it has produced and possible in all of west.
Unpopular take, but I would personally rate Xerxia higher than NTH. NTH won over them, but I feel like Xerxia had higher potential to win over more teams or make the games closer.
Based on his clutches alone he should. Like the amount of impact he had in this game and last is just insane. He literally clutched so many rounds and even pistol rounds.
