the point isnt that astra or tejo is bad, the point is that there are way easier agents that get more value. astra is good but omen flash if used correctly can guarentee you like 7-8 kills per game and 7-8+ assists per game, then you add the tp value and he is just a better agent.

plus my point about tejo is that sometimes with braindead teammates you can waste value, but breach stun and recon gives you so much more free value with shit teammates

The best way to rank up is to play easy agents that get a lot of value.
Duelist? You could learn yoru or waylay but just go jett/raze.
Controller? Why play astra and get no value when you can play omen, same with brimstone, just play clove.
Initiator? Just lock breach and stare at your minimap, or play gekko/fade/sova. Id argue that even playing tejo isnt worth it unless youre like immo+ cause teammates dont capitalise on util
Senti? Just lock Cypher and get a shit tonne of info on defence. Vyse/ KJ can be good but lets be real your teammates are dumb asf and there will be gaps in your defence. This is even worse if ur playing chamber/sage/deadlock imo
