I aspire to achieve this level of delulu-ness some day
Yet another reason why I think he needs to be put on sentinel
Wasn't it also STK's decision to move saadhak to Neon?
Valorant Esports is in serious trouble, and if you’re paying attention, you’d know exactly why. The once-thriving scene, filled with excitement, competition, and some of the most talented FPS players in the world, has taken a nosedive. And let’s not mince words—Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom's departure is a major reason why.
Remember when Valorant was the hot new thing, poised to be the next big esport sensation? The hype was through the roof, and rightfully so. It was touted as the game that would finally take down the giants like CS
and Overwatch. But where are we now? Scratching our heads, wondering what went wrong.
Here’s the ugly truth: without ScreaM, the Valorant scene has lost its shine. This guy wasn’t just a player; he was the embodiment of everything that made Valorant worth watching. The “Headshot Machine,” as he was aptly nicknamed, brought a level of skill, intensity, and sheer entertainment that no one else could match. His plays were legendary, his presence on the server intimidating, and his fans loyal to a fault. When ScreaM was on your screen, you knew something incredible was about to happen.
But then, he left. And what happened? The competitive scene took a hit it hasn’t recovered from. The tournaments? A shadow of their former selves. The players? Struggling to fill the void left by a giant. Even the fan base feels it—engagement is down, viewership numbers have dipped, and the excitement that once defined Valorant is fizzling out.
Let’s talk about the elephant in the room: the gameplay. Without players like ScreaM to elevate the standard, the matches have become… let’s just say, less thrilling. The strategic depth? Lacking. The clutch moments? Few and far between. The outplays? Almost nonexistent. And don’t even get me started on the so-called “new talents” who are supposed to carry the torch. They’re good, sure, but they’re no ScreaM.
The teams themselves are feeling the strain. Without a star like ScreaM, team dynamics have shifted, and not for the better. The synergy isn’t there, the performances are inconsistent, and the magic that once made Valorant matches must-see events is missing.
Let’s face it—Valorant Esports without ScreaM is like a car without an engine. Sure, it looks cool on the outside, but it’s not going anywhere. Riot Games needs to take a long, hard look at what made the scene thrive in the first place. Without that star power, that raw talent, and that ability to make even the most seasoned gamers go, “Wow, did you see that?”—Valorant is at serious risk of becoming just another esport that could have been great.
So here we are, watching Valorant fade into obscurity, all because one man left the scene. It’s a hard pill to swallow, but maybe it’s time we all admit that Valorant’s best days are behind it—and they left when ScreaM did.
Imagine you're on a date and you ask what the other person does, and they reply with "oh yeah, I bait on VLR"
milflover92 only ever speaks the truth
2022 is my favourite year by far
There's obviously a chance for either of the 2 Ascension teams to be really good, but there's no saying for sure
Yay. You can definitely teach him how to play Yoru lol
Didn't DRX almost lose a map to... 2023 BLG?
Na'Vi lose 1-2 (predicting they win fracture cuz it's the only map I've seen them win)
These series of messages are basically my signature moves against Jingg fans at this point
nt bang pls dont blame urself u did well we proud of u kub🫂🫂 rest well after this see u kub

NT KUB NONG JING , take care of yourself , thanks for your hard-working for all the times and comeback stronger kub see ya in split 1 ♡♡♡ we lose today but didn't mean we lose forever and always be by your side until you get the trophy kub ♡♡♡
ggnt jj, we are always here to support you so don't be too hard on yourself okay ❤️
ggnt nong, you’re doing good so far, rest well and comeback stornger nong 🫂
Yeah but EG only did that cuz their Jett can't play Raze. It all depends upon player flexibility. If a player can play every duelist to a high level, why would you not have him play main duelist?
The crying is good lol. The state of the game, with all the util making it unplayable, is awful. If you don't cry, RIot won't care.
It's better that he complains honestly. Seeing the voice he has, it's good that he's speaking out against the meta, cuz riot is more likely to listen to the community if all the biggest figures in the scene are talking about it. If the "mascot" of your game isn't speaking about what's going wrong then that's bad
No no, I'm sorry lol, I was referring to when carpe got dropped and stax and rossy were in instead of him. Also forgot that rossy got dropped later on and they switched to full on korean
Might not be a bad move since he can call at least half decently
I've been a huge fan of T1 for a little over a year now, but I don't know if anyone else feels bad for how they treated xccurate last year. I mean, look at it this way:
-They bring him in
-They have him playing senti
-They switch him to flexing between senti and controller
-They then make him play controller full time
-They then proceed to bench their IGL and make him the IGL instead
-He learns korean for them, too, and they look semi-promising
-After he inevitably underperforms, they boot him off the team and he switches to being a CC
I don't claim him as someone from my country
I hope BLG so he's at least on a good team
Ended up amazing
He still has good mechs dude, the difference is the fact that he doesn't have 2023 EG to set him up anymore. He should swap over to senti
And T1 isn't a superteam?
Nah man, IMO, the easiest way for LEV to sort their roles out is:
D1: Sentinel
Tex: Duelist
C0M: Initiator
Rossy: Flash Init/Flex
Kingg: Smokes
Am I crazy for thinking that he could genuinely become one of the best players in the world if they shift him to sentinel? He just has that calm aim
Don't go monk mode on me now
