True but then the number of teams at internationals makes formats a bit weird. I'd assume they'd make the first masters event 10 teams in that case, which is workable if you change the swiss format up a bit and keep top 4 make playoffs. Mid season masters get fucky though. 15 teams with 5 automatically in playoffs would be awful so they'd have to run a 20 team event, which would still be difficult to run. And then you get the issue of how many teams you have in champs, because surely they'd want more than the mid season masters event. But 25 is a terrible number and 30 is just ridiculous.

Hence why they should make VCT CIS once all the sanctions are lifted so we have 6 regions
