Also both Arctic and Riders are orgs with a lot of potential that now are rebuilding because they don’t wanna be lasts again. (Riders roster rumored to be Fizzy, stanley, szimpli, Mickebwoy and Kpzet) This way you create story telling and stability in the league (Highest viewership by faaaaaaar even without the costreams)

On the other hand instead of leaving tier 2 teams without competition at all for months they have the 2nd division to grow national talent
