I think you're overestimating tier 2 a lot. For example Case's coach keeps claiming how they have never been able to beat TH who they regularly pracc against and have gotten 20-3 and similar scores several times. Look at Wolfen, he absolutely smurffed ascension last year and he is not a superstar as we can see
