Mfs need to be inclusive even for that shit
Not hate but the consensus seems to be that they're overrated, or at least looking rough right now. I believe they will peak at the right time tho
They had the most imports last masters
Don't need to beat geng and heretics, just 1
He is a much better flex than smoker imo
When I said 2 years I meant 2020 and 2021. You're right cned was probably better at champs but Tenz was better the rest of the year. And no, Tenz was the main Jett, Shazham was only playing it on double duelist maps
Sucks now, but he was the best duelist in the world for a year, arguably 2
Nowhere sloe to Beyn's level before IGling tho
Only 1 of those finals he placed second, and ik what you mean nobody remembers second places. My point is more towards consistency, every time he makes it there you know he's gonna perform
Chinese stream quality is a different level
Should have used a post by any Brazilian then
it's impossible to maintain that level of individual performance the whole year and they peaked at the wrong time. Can still find their groove again tho
Well because of the case situation his season has been like 2 months long, frustration is understandable
rn I'm closer to retirement than coaching
I'm sorry but 1 absolutely amazing year does not make up for this being the first ever year GenG play at international other than 1 game at lock in. It needs to last through time a little more imo before getting in those conversations
If geng win it would be an amazing feat and have the best year in valorant history. But imo that would still not make up for this pretty much being their first ever year doing something at all. FNC made the first ever LAN, consistency has to count for something
There is one factor people seem to forget
Chronicle has made the finals in 4 of of the 6 events he has attended
The other 2 are a top 4 and a 7/8
though he meant it as in finals contenders for Seoul
2 at the very most
I just realized the 4 players with the most clutches in Pacific are from DRX, weirdly enough because of the amount of rookies. The average amount of clutches on DRX would still be the most by any player
No, sucking for a long period of time does wear off the numbers and fans, it happens on every single traditional sport and KOI in valorant for example
I think last year they had both things, FNC has been creating meta for years, with their buys, comps etc.
They obviously weren’t free of issues but neither is this FNC. I see something very similar to patitek and miniboo, I think the answer is more on the rest of the team than on them
There is absolutely no format that can predict which region is gonna be better at the start of the year to fairly distribute slots.
Also I don't think this comparison is fair at all, for several reasons.
1 Pacific Americas and EMEA are extremely close rn and 100% deserve equal spots. Your whole argument relies on China, so what you actually mean is that China doesn't deserve the same slots? While that is totally the case gameplay wise, china plays with a big disadvantage and the way of making up for all the time they missed is giving them advantages like this.
2 There is absolutely no one in EMEA other than KC fans that would rather have KC at Champs rather than Vitality. if you can't maintain a certain high level through the year you don't deserve it imo
I don’t think we’re being fair with Leo tho. FNC has proven that they can be better with Leo than with Hiro.
Obviously they look better now with hiro, but idk to what point it’s a fresh start and the whole team taking that to step up
I just realized they're not only of of 3 teams to make all champions, but also the only Americas team to make it last year and this year. Can't even argue the free latam spots
If it's not Nzr or saadhack I would just let mta work. Can't expect them to win champs, this roster is perfectly fine
Also bro didn't punch anybody so your comparison is clearly flawed
it's not that rare, specially of blowouts
if it works why change it. Nzr in place of mta and you're perfect. But if you can't, leave it be
This man was absolute garbage for the first months of the year and now is cracked af. He is also a much better sentinel than he was ever duelist
Another prime example of why rerolling duelists is the way to go
A very long thread could be made with about 95% of this forum wanting to bench this mf and it would def include me
I'm also just watching lev vs kru and tex is another prime example of a duelist being better at sentinel
Oh no, I thought you meant it was that high because chamber was broken mb
Tbf jett was just as broken for tenz and heat runs
Idk why I was reading that as highest acs on initiator lmao
It's funny because as I was reading the first lines, Tomaszy is the exact example that was coming to mind xD
But it's extremely common, Runner this year, or Wolfen last year did it mid season. I'm a big fan of rerolling duelists to new roles. Alorante's competence is for sure not just the sentinels.
Overall I agree with all those names, I would add quite a few more tho but I respect it. Overall alorante has a chance, but I don't think it would be crazy at all if he didn't get picked up, he's gonna have to perform out of his mind during tryouts
Debut as in debut year or debut couple games
I certainly hope so, it could happen. But doesn't mean it's the most likely scenario.
Btw congrats, they played well, top 2 is great
Fair but I don't personally agree. I think it just looks that way because the rest of the team has slowed down
The performance dip doesn't have to do with patitek, they're just not as sharp
Winning EMEA is not even comparable to making Shaghai's finals like patitek. He could, but he is not yet
