maybe no chance for play-off.
SP COMEBACK FROM 11-1
THIS IS THE GREATER COMEBACK THAN FNATIC OMG.
you made me go find keloqz's last match lol.
OMG I NEVER SEE 0/15 IN ANY MATCH
I know that maybe we can't blame one players for all the loses, but it's clear that the team's synergy seems to have disappeared since they started putting Patt in.
I don't know why they persist in using him. They should sub him then let the LOCK//IN roasters play.
Serious answer: It's now legal since only a few years ago, but it's caused a lot of problems and debates if it should be banned again or not.
It's not just about win count, but winning at least 5 games is the minimum to have a chance. If they can't win 5 games, they will have no chance. But even if they do win 5 games, there are other factors like map differences or round differences to consider.
So, even if they know they can't win against DRX, they still need to win as many rounds as possible instead of throwing.
They still has a chance, if I'm not wrong. I heard an analyst say that a team needs to win at least 5 games to make it to playoffs. Even if Talon lose to DRX today, they still have 6 more games to play. But, they can only afford to lose one more game after this.
Most of the GE players used to be top-ranked Jett players like Something. It's all about how well they work together as a team. GE players have been playing together for months, while PRX hasn't changed their roster in 2 years. Just swapping out one duelist isn't going to make a huge difference.
why no update?
When Scream's HS% is equal to Jamppi's K/D in map 2
yep he is good too. you can see flex initiator (flash) diff. in map 1 even patt kills 15 and carpe kills 14 but patt assist 0 when carpe assist 19. their role is very important to make the duelist entry much easier.
They picked Gekko for 2 maps but his utilities didn't really do much. Also, Patt (Patiphan) played in both maps, one as Gekko and one as Breach. He's got great individual skills, good aim, and kills a lot, but he doesn't seem to have much synergy with the team since he's been a sub for so long.
And T1 is so good, especially Saya.
They pick Gekko 2 maps and the utilities don't seem to make impacts to their game. Also, Patt (Patiphan) played in both map, one Gekko, and one Breach. He's good at individual skills, has good aiming and kills a lot, but he seem lack of synergy to the team, since he's been a sub for long time.
Stats didn't show that he's good at his role now. he is a good duelist for sure but not flex player. at first map, I can say that Pati really makes impact for the team but it's all because his aim, not the agent's utilities.
agree and stop picking Gekko
Finally sScary isn't the MVP (map 1) haha
They require different skills, I guess? CS:GO is more about aiming and shooting, while Valorant is more about using utilities and combo skills. In Valorant, you don't have to be a headshot god to win. As Sova says, 'If you're not a good shot today, don't worry. There are other ways to be useful'
Icebox is my favorite map too. Although I think that the meta comp is kinda boring but I remember that I heard from somewhere (not sure where, but possibly from some commentators in my country) that Icebox has the highest rate of comeback.
I believe chocolate is a vegetable. It's made from cocoa beans, which come from plants so technically it's salad.
you live in the country that instant ramen aren't delicious
bro make this OT stop I'm dying from heart attack.
Bro, they actually got Icebox which is one of TS's best maps with 13-8, almost 13-6 if they didn't stuck on map point. For me, it's clear that TLN are just as skilled as TS, but they seem to struggle with their strategies, and the idea of rotating players. Man, that really hurt their performance.
patiphan (or Patt) finally pops off and carries Talon over T1
If they don't randomly rotate players during the match.
PRX did win their match against DFM, but they really struggled big time and almost lost a map if DFM didn't choke on map 2. but idk, now they signed Something.
I'm a fan of Talon, but I don't think Team Secret got so lucky. They are a great team, as we saw when they defeated Team Liquid in LOCK//IN. They usually perform to their standard, or even exceed it. But Talon seems to be trying something new, like rotating players, and it doesn't seem to be working out well for them.
I feel like TLN is kinda trying something new, but it doesn't work, such as rotating players. It's not a good strategy. Imagine if you played in game 1, rested in game 2, and then played again in game 3, you would lose your momentum, energy, and focus, and then have to warm up all over again.
Anyway, as a Talon fan, I don't think today's loss is a big problem. It's like when you can identify your problems early, you will have more time to fix them than anyone else.
I kinda hype on Pati. I really miss him.
Does anyone else feel like PRX's performance has dropped since they got the second place at Masters Copenhagen? As a fan, I can say that they used to be such a fun team to watch with their aggressive and unpredictable play style. But lately, sometimes I feel nervous while watching them play. I mean, I nearly have a heart attack when I see them choke or make a lot of mistakes.
Man, I hope they can return to their hype performance soon. I really want them to be qualified to Masters.
I think Riot added Gekko and Harbor to make different comps on Icebox. We've already seen Harbor being used by many teams during LOCK//IN. And Gekko, I watch pros stream and many people think he might be a good pick on Icebox too. We might see some differences in the next tour, I guess.
what a comeback
for me it's very fun tournament. it's a showmatch that introduce many teams that I don't know before, or maybe old team but new line-ups. for real after watching every match in lock//in, I found many team that I feel like, oh man I haven't heard about this team before but they're kinda good, I wanna watch them playing in their league after this!
so yeah I think it would be good if we have this kind of tournament every year, especially when next year there will be 3 new teams that come from ascension.
but the problem is next year, we will have more than 32 teams in the tournament, and the next year will have more and more and more, it will take so much time for sure. they maybe have to change the format.
It's just a trend to put z or s after your name because it sounds cool. idk if you get the idea, but for Thais, it's really cool. lol
about 10 years ago there's a trend to put 'zaa' after your name, it literally means 'cool' like if you're John, 'Johnzaa' means 'cool John' or 'John, cool guy'
these days 'zaa' is kinda old-man things, (lol) so they just make it z instead.
but if your name with the z is already stolen by someone else, (many online games can't use the name that someone already use it), you probably just change the Z to S because it sounds similar.
hope this answer your question. it's kinda cultural and hard to explain.
will other stats be updated?
FUT is way better than I thought for a team I didn't know before (I don't really follow the EMEA league).
But 100T didn't do so well against them. I don't know what happened because they did better against EDG. I support them, but if they don't fix their issues, I feel like they might lose to FNC.
wdym worst? they play the same comp with team vitality yesterday and they win.
actually it's quite old school comp since the days valorant has only sova and breach as initiator.
Because many players in the team took their role on duelist before joining GE, I guess?
In my opinion, if you make duelist players playing other roles, the benefit is that they have aim power, they are confident, playing aggressive without fear, but in the same time it makes the whole team more reckless. They just need time.
I think it's too early to say that because lotus is just a brand new map. Every teams hasn't had a chance to study their enemy's strategy. I mean, yes, you can build strategy and practice for your attacking, but if you don't know how your enemy plays or what comp your enemy will pick on this new map, how can you build some defending strategy against them?
what da fuq is going on??? I always support pacific but tbh I have never thought that Team Liquid will lose like this. I mean Team Secret is quite underdog in my opinion but really?? this is not even close! btw GGs to both team. pacific region was always be underrated, and now we prove that we are the same level to Americas and EMEA.
GGs Talon! As a fan, I'm really proud of you guys. Can't wait to see your plays again in the league.
cheer for talon let's go!
To be honest KC is much better than I thought.
