its a fair take. but theyve made the playoffs for americas and not only do we see a diff c9 in the playoffs but also a different oxy. tbh anybody who is well versed in americas knew that oxy wasnt going to carry them to a win today, therefore c9 is guaranteed a loss…

i mean theyre 1-2 and have to win out. wasted potential is all you really can say about them rn.

sen are currently the best team in americas so the win itself is not that surprising . the manner in which c9 lost is a little embarrassing but truthfully they farm mid teams. not so much c9 in its entirety but mainly oxy. he is hyped up as insane, and while he is better than average, none of his insane clips have come from important regional games (let alone an international event)… a fun game can be looking at his game by game stats ovee the past year and taking note of his performances of +10(+)

100t are still good and likely the 4th best team in americas (g2, sen, c9). still wouldnt be suprised if they come short of champs. i say this because 1.) they are bind merchants and 2.) their streaks come off of player to player performance.

Teams like sen and g2 have exceptional fraggers on top of; experience, strats, game sense etc. essentially things that dont directly relate to mechanics. good mechanics can temporarily make up for bad calling/ strats/ decision making, but you can not expect long term results. good structure and decision making always has the ability to counter good or bad mechanics. 100t won stage 1 and went on a mini run leading into shanghai solely based on the 2 reasons above. similar to eg perma winning on fracture, except 100t will never win a lan.
