How come all these teams are doing benders if 1 page analysis is good enough?

I agree. I call this the "Hero" era of Valorant :)

I think the mistake teams make is that they refuse to address the issue and instead try to engage in a race with some of the fastest guns in the league. There are better people in this world and in Valorant it takes teamwork to address the issue. The best player can't do much if I stun, flash, slow, debuff and use my "Abilities create tactical opportunities to take the right shot."

If 100T use the SEN map blueprint and force same comps... It's betting 00 but still :)

SEN gave 100T the blueprint. G2 and SEN are similar in that they have a pop-off superstar that needs to be managed. The job got harder for sure and there's a guy out there who got hit by lightening seven times.

I heard the cancel. I saw him wander around middle. I'm not sure I agree.

Kayo/Omen interaction with Riot Dev: https://youtu.be/LjA9r-L-Hc0?t=829

Not 100% sure if it changed. So I'm 95% sure I'm right.

Round 23: Valyn cancelling the Omen ultimate and then letting Jawgemo rot for 20 seconds. Having your initiator flash player holding A while the entire team is just listening to Jawgemo's eventual death outside B because they have no way to enter the site.

Jawgemo, you deserved better than that.

KRU not getting attack side first lost them icebox. they are not a defense side team and to give yourself so little room to get into an atk side grove... nt nt gl in lowers.

Win conditions for beating SEN...

EEIU figures out he is an attack focused player and can drastically level up his game by improving on defense. He also needs to stay on Sova which is a problem in this meta because people still think that Tejo drone is just a longer lasting Sova drone. Super embarrassing but the current state of things.

Removing the Operator responsibilities from Cryo. Cryo is a magnificent rifler. By putting him on the operator you are limiting him to very specific situations. The problem is that Cryo often seems timid to take the timings he needs to in order to be effective on the operator. I think the team has protocols that often put him on flanks or the team needs to be completely ready to re-take as a group. The problem that you have with an operator in these situations is that the operator is best when your position is unknown. In retake situations, the enemy has already established angles and it makes it tremendously difficult for the operator player. Taking him off the duty frees him to be more aggressive. And because Cryo is generally not an aggressive player but instead makes calculated aggression plays, anything that pushes him in that direction leads to early confidence and an easy path to a good performance.

If the team continues to get Icebox, they need to rethink Viper. One of my largest criticism in my 100 page doc was that there was no use on the Viper wall towards B. Everyone likes to say "oh but it conditions the enemy" but as we saw, most teams don't even understand the line-up properly. Nevertheless the idea that the wall is supposed to allow your Viper to move up into advance positions while posing a threat of -30 damage if the defender takes the fight. Instead we see from 100T we see them ignore the benefits of the wall and play if it didn't matter. This can come in the form of Viper dying early or being aggressive pass the wall and once again ignoring the benefits. I would rather see the team hold on to the wall and use it in advantageous post-plants or looking at the minimap and finding interesting ways to deploy it. You can see they are anti-stratting it, make it harder on them.

Boostio seems to be getting lost in his role. He said in an interview that he wants to go back to a time when things were more natural. He doesn't seem to understand this was a time when he was committed to the game and didn't have all the benefits of being a pro player. Boostio can offset the stress of his role by enabling his teammates to make more decisions for themselves or can spend more time out of the game dry-running so he has less micro to do in game.

Keep Asuna on Phantom when he plays duelist. Explain to the man that his role is to take close engagements. Phantom has a higher rate of fire and will be very apologetic to his movement errors. A Vandal has a slower rate of fire and is extremely punishing when it comes to movement errors.

Zikz, isolate Zekken's weaknesses. Force him on to maps where he has to play Yoru. Find spots where he enjoys playing with the Phantom and give it to him like a team would give bad 3 point shooter space. Force him on defense first.

I think from this you can extract other improvements. I'm sure I'm going to get downvoters but that's fine, I was feeling analytical lol.

Your d1 take is incorrect. You're describing what people would call the "traditional duelist." What's holding a lot of teams back is a lack of understanding of what it means to play entry and what it means to be the high-ceiling player on your team.

Historically, in the CS traditions lol, your entry player was never your best player. Your best player was either 2nd-5th player in. There's a very logical reason for this, you want to preserve your best chances to win.

This is what drives me up a wall with C9 and other EMEA teams. The coaches have the same ideology that you're describing. Here are some similar examples of what you're doing, you are using your queen to fight all the chess pieces, you're asking Messi to play goalie and then run up the field to play striker... It's dropping a nuke in every fight.

You need to preserve your good players. You need to preserve the players who perform in clutch situations. You need to preserve your life if you have KEY UTILITY. This whole idea around duelist diving in or sentinels always playing lurk... it's an oversimplification of a complicated problem. It's an easy narrative to tell the kids.

A lot of people don't look at the details of all of his crazy eliminations. First, many of the maps have weird edges and changes in elevation. Older games used to do away with this by using clip textures to smooth out the map to remove inconsistencies.

Second, if you roughly understand how aim works, many of his kills statistically make sense. Each bullet that is shot in a succession has an increasing spread. This creates the likelihood that most of the bullets shot after #4 will likely be on the outside of your crosshair.

Lastly, the dead zone makes things stranger to explain. UE4 has two different types of keyboard input. A full press and a tap. A full press can exponentially raise a value where a tap may just provide a flat value. Deadzone lives somewhere in here and I've never fully heard it explained from a UE4 perspective. All this to say that some of the things he does may appear as randomness and might not even be able to be recreated consistently but it's all rooted in game mechanics.

They placed accordingly. I don't know why we are using the myth to explain it. They won games against the bottom 3 teams. This put them roughly in seventh? Doesn't really matter because only 4 teams didn't make it to playoffs.

What if you labelling the 16 year old makes him say "fuck it, they think I'm this way and I'll never change their minds" ... you don't make the world a better place by attacking and isolating people. You are not the solution, you are bullying and trying to cause real damage. No one needs or wants this behavior out of the community.

You are not the internet police.

Yeah I don't think that it's not possible. A good coach is a personality type. Crazy patience and a desire to see people succeed despite the sacrifice from you.

I think a lot of people discount coaching because they've been around teachers most of their lives and it's hard to see the value in what they do if you get it everyday for free.
