This game is very fun. Teaming up with others as a solo feels very rewarding.

What do you think these stats indicate about BerLIN as a player?

This is a great point.

Many great players have found success swapping from duelist to smokes. Some of these are Mako, s0m, TenZ, and f0rsaken. Now that zekken is swapping to the smoker role do you think he will be successful?

Also, I am fairly certain the baiting allegations was just impression farming which wouldn't really be an issue with clear communication in a more serious team environment.

I am pretty sure Heretics comms in English and aspas has decent english.

I have 2 questions:

1. Who lurks? (suygetsu, nAts, or chronicle)
2. Who play secondary duelist?

Have there been any teams with 2 IGL's? I feel like the main reason most teams do not pick up multiple players who have IGLing experience is because most IGL's have subpar mechanics. If you have the opportunity to take two world-class players like valyn and Nats, you take it. However, I do agree that my initial idea to make valyn secondary caller is idiotic. For this proposed team, Nats would move off the IGL role and go back being a star player and secondary caller.

This is a good team. I think that the only issue might be double duelist comps but Ethan could play yoru and Riens could be a secondary duelist. Nats and chronicle both have the primary role of being a lurker/weak side, so I could see some role clashes there. This is basically why I chose alfajer over Nats and Less. Their roles overlap more with Chron's roles while Alfajer's roles compliment Chron's better.

Valyn could be a secondary caller. I don't think its too crazy to have two IGL's on one team.

I do not watch a lot of pacific. Why do you think that meteor is a better sentinel than players like alfajer, leaf, or chichoo?

Thinking about it now, I agree that chron is the better pick as he can play viper and, currently, there is not a dedicated lurker on my team. Also, looking at it now, f0rsaken plays a lot of the same roles as valyn.

I know this is bait but I will respond anyway.

Stage 2 stats:

1. narrate: 1.14 rating
2. brawk: 1.13 rating
3. trent: 1.08 rating
4. Derrek: 1.07 rating
5. eeiu: 1.06 rating

Stage 1 stats:

1. trent: 1.24 rating
2. verno: 1.18 rating
3. johnqt: 1.15 rating
4. eeiu: 1.08 rating

Across BOTH Stage 1 and Stage 2, eeiu was not even a top 3 initiator in the region. Also, eeiu's clutch percentage over this time period was 10%, which is in the bottom 20% all americas players in 2025. Trying to discount this stat by using the argument that he was on a bad team does not hold because other players like C0m (EG), adverso (furia), and mazino (kru) have a significantly higher clutch rate than him (~17% for each of them).
Also, if you compare all these players you will find that most of them are better than eeiu either in mechanics or intangibles. Johnqt and verno are better callers than eeiu. Trent and n4rrate are better aimers than eeiu. Brawk is a champions winning player with an ability to flex to sentinel.

This is a good list. I think ruxic, comeback, and lar0k could prove themselves to be world class. A bit of a random question but why do you think that turkish teams have had limited success at internationals?

Let's say you are Jeff Bezos with 1 quadrillion dollars. What is the best team you can make assuming that you can get any player and coach that you want? (Language and chemistry issues still apply)
For me:

1. Valyn (IGL/smokes)
2. Aspas (Duelist)
3. Chronicle (lurker/flex)
4. Alfajer (sentinel)
5. Riens (scan)

edit: I changed f0rsaken to chronicle. The team needs a dedicated lurker which chronicle is better at than f0rsaken. Also, f0rsaken plays the same agents as Valyn, so it doesn't make sense for them to be on the same team. The only issue with this team would be flashes but Chronicle has good results playing agents like breach.

I imagine it must feel good to do so well at an international after getting kicked out of a team for assaulting another player

Why am I watching the teams try to solve the meta at the second most prestigious event of the year? I agree that tejo was a problem, but they needed to nerf him earlier, or not at all. I want to see the best teams play the best valorant - not try to mess around with new comps.

As an electrical engineering major, some of my classes would have been much harder with a Mac since it can't run some National Instruments software.
