Personally, I think Valorant is a beautiful and amazing game. They just need to keep investing in VCT, manage the game better to improve the overall player experience, and give players meaningful rewards for the time they spend playing. If they can do that consistently, the game has everything it needs to stay at the top.

I played Retake today, and honestly, I didn't enjoy it that much.

It's a good option for people who don't have time to play Competitive and just want a quick match. But when it comes to adding something fresh or keeping players engaged, I don't think it does either.

What are you actually playing for in this mode? Your account level? Does leveling up give you anything besides a different border around level plate in your player card? Not really.

People aren't going to keep playing a mode if there's nothing meaningful to earn. In Competitive, whether you gain or lose RR, you're still progressing toward something your rank. That's what keeps people engaged and coming back.

And hasn't this been one of Valorant's biggest issues since launch? The game barely rewards players for investing their time. This mode feels like it's getting the same treatment as the replay system. We spammed every corner of the internet asking for a replay system, and it took them five years to deliver it.
