well yeah this roster was never going to qual to bangkok its a make champs type of project

some of their rounds looked awful like just straight deathmatch but the individuals looked good
kc looked pretty decent imo, but navi, bbl, and gx all were pretty disappointing besides some of the individuals
dont dig into him for at least a couple games he will get better
genuinely never understood what people saw in the giantx roster. on paper its shit and the coaching staff is proven fraudulent.

marteen = koalanoob (marteen has higher peaks but is more inconsistent meanwhile koala doesnt really lose you games)

engh = happy (both cook crazy comps but have different flaws)
i think people just expect more from kc but in server i could see kc having more issues just with roles and playstyle

i mean fnatic in their off season form was very shaky but tbf they were subbing players in and out all the time
yeah but that is quite different. heretics was comprised of unknowns 3 tier 2 players plus a fortnite pro and a returning player from the original lineup which had internal issues. and geng was 1 returning player, a ranked player, a tier 2 player, and 2 tier 1's from unsuccessful rosters but showed some promise. neizhino also won a masters and hsk had no control on dfm. i dont see the similarities we have seen pipson scouting and we have seen all of these players besides 1 play a full season and the 2 pick ups were on semi successful rosters but were probably the worst or 2nd worst player which is why they got rid of them. i like tomaszy but he was very inconsistent and im a vitality fan but runner was legit terrible and was a big reason to why they lost at champs. there will no doubt be surprise teams but giantx? i really dont think so
i mean i guess? i dont really have any trust in this teams scouting or trials tho after the constant roster moves of last year. it wouldnt surprise me if they made changes after 2 games. the only real thing i agree could elevate them is if purp0 lives up to his potential

i see a lot of people have them as a dark horse. please convince me why they will be decent. cuz imo this roster has nothing runner and tomaszy on off roles plus cloud (best player) igling i dont get what some of yall see in this. also their coach just copies everyone never seen good giantx comps or anti
realistically this year. im not even a hater of the game i think its fun but it can only really be a casual experience with how the game is balanced which is fine but once the honeymoon period wears off people will start complaining how everything is broken i really only see it lasting for casual marvel fans. also ranked in that game is a joke i hit eternity within 40hrs and the amount of people in high ranks that are still absolutely horrible ive never seen anything like it seriously just a joke
im not tryna get into like personal relationships and stuff cuz i dont want to spread misinfo but chet does not like crashies, victor, or ethan. marved does not like anyone on that team besides crashies, and demon1 doesnt like anyone on that team. one of those alone being true proves my point but im like 99% sure all of them are.
im probably the biggest sayf and trexx fan around arguing which roster is better is not my point. vitality built a team where like every player is top 5 itw in their previous role outside of kicks. vitality is obviously a super team. ive heard hella people call t1 a super team and if you limit the roster by language like everyone has to speak korean they literally built the best roster they possibly could have. buzz is a top 2 korean duelist (maybe top 10-15 global), stax is the 2nd best korean igl (also top 10 global), izu is the best korean flex, meteor is the best korean sentinel (top 5 global easy) and then sylvan who is also probably top 5 korean smokes. im not saying t1 > vitality on paper but they built a roster that should dominate their region at least and make deep runs in tournaments like i can see why people would call it a super team i dont disagree it defiantly could be. its kind of like lev 2024 but i would say its on paper quite a bit better
it was still called a super team regardless and placed top 3 at champs.
