The reason is because they’re making multiple storylines. First one about EMEA with 2 of its past tourney winners, one being fnatic that’s now dominating and one (navi) that’s not performing at all.

The potential article you’re referencing about EDG or BBG sweep WILL be written, they just won’t release them simultaneously with the others

Jesus man how dumb is the vlr population, it’s like you guys have never read any news reports in your lives

Read the words one more time buddy.

Verbatim:

The latter went from a title favorite to not even a title contender in four months.

How can you read this and understand the exact opposite?

NA education at its finest again.

Nice reading comprehension.

Nowhere in the article were they called a title contender. The opposite in fact.

SINTERKLAAS CHOCOLADE.

Or anything côte d’or or callebaut I guess.

And if we’re speaking internationally, then godiva or leonidas pralines

Of all time?

Counter Strike, the original, from 1.3 to 1.6. Without it there would be no mainstream tac shooter genre including valorant. Hell, there’s still people playing it to this day.

Warcraft III, because of its impact on the world of gaming, going into World of Warcraft spawning the mmo genre (I know it existed beforehand but WoW made it explode) and the original DOTA, giving rise to the MOBA genre.

  1. they didn't play meta
  2. zyppan was always good on raze, he's a better raze than cned
posted about 2 years ago

at least ardiis was able to flex properly.

also please don't tell me you made your vlr name after the prime video show came out, that trash spat on the book

posted about 2 years ago

who is that?

posted about 2 years ago

who?

posted about 2 years ago

ardiis. Much better flex than cNed so they're able to play around with comps more and having zyppan on raze when necessary. His peak may be lower than cNeds but at least he will contribute more to the team even on his off days.

they were on the verge of signing Enzo before but that fell through.

If they DON'T pick up enzo in the transfer window, then KC is confirmed on crack.

Played since day 1 of the beta.

Up until a few months ago I've had 0 red screens and only rarely seen very suspicious people play against/with me.

In the last 4-5 months I've had 4 red screens mid match and more frequent suspicious players. Can never tell for certain since we have no replay ability (rito pls add) but to me it does seem like it's getting more frequent.

EDIT: Immortal elo.

means nothing you'll see. Acend best map and has more maps from apeks to study. Apeks winning both others easily

Whoops sorry dude didn’t read that

delusional if you think so.

Many of these teams had people coming from CS. If you think they had no maturity in their strats whatsoever you're sorely mistaken.

The strats have evolved, but anti-stratting and making strats was still very much a thing.

they were in talks to sign him before. Incredible that they didn't pick up the best french igl when he was up for grabs

Wonder what made them not sign him

Mini 100%.

Fnatic has been known to LEAD the meta on almost every map that came out.

Teams have been following fnatic’s lead on metas since fnatic acquired them.

The consistency that’s come from fnatic through multiple rosters in their fundamentals and meta defining plays says enough. No other coach has done this as much.

Honorable mention to seangares though. Dude’s a wizard.

posted about 2 years ago

He’s been coaching them since they rose as SUMN FC. The consistency of defining metas across rosters has to be awarded to him

Chronicle achievement wise.

Leo has the potential to get there but not yet.

I don't speak French, and more than half of the country doesn't speak French.

Flemish is the original Dutch.

KK just deserves the hype (at least in this tournament). He's been awping on any agent he plays, both on attack and defense and getting sick results with it. It's super impressive

posted about 2 years ago

Adaptations throughout a match. Fnatic pulls out nutty comebacks.

Ability to hype up the team and hold cohesion

Not fumbling the fundamentals. You rarely see fnatic making ranked mistakes

When it comes to strats it’s always hard to say without knowing how closely they work with the coach and what % of the stratbook is basically theirs

What did tenz ever really do

Depends on the dude. And if you can’t trust your gf around other men then you shouldn’t be in a relationship with her.

I had the honour of getting destroyed by this guy in an early valorant tournament.

This. We’ve seen aspas get locked out of a game.

There seems to be no reliable way to take derke out.

It’s because derke actually isn’t as aggressive as the stats suggest. He’s super calculated in how he takes and clears space, so can’t be caught out very often in a “wrong” spot. Ofc that’s due to how well fnatic sets up util to allow him to do that and how they dictate pacing

posted about 2 years ago

Nothing wrong with steel. Dropping him caused 100t downfall.

posted about 2 years ago

Right so what do you suggest?

Duelists - take space
Sentinels - hold space
Controllers - shape space
Initiators - help take space and get info on space

With some of them some util to deny space

What else is there?
