hes talking about entertainment from a viewers persepective. ngl kr games are quite boring
sa cant even beat tier 2 apac
oce and sa getting spots in asian league...
i think the best kr and jp teams are way more disciplined and strategically better, but they could do damage fs
who you guys got? my preds are
what is decision making lol. no offense but he did this all day yesterday as well i dont understand
blame optic for losing not riot LMAO
but the thing is drx is normally very good in scrims. this is very good tho, at least they can learn from their loss
idk that 213 acs on jett is kinda iffy but i havent actually watched the games to know its context
honestly i have maru not doing very well simply due to the fact that i think they will lose first bloods a lot because of their lack of firepower but who knows
imagine suggest on damwon T-T would truly be drx's match in terms of firepower
interesting to see who will play out of bangnan and esp. both of them have been spamming controller games in ranked
fr people are acting as if riot rigged a na vs na matchup
it doesnt matter you still have to quarantine. u can still have the virus and spread it to others even if u test negative cuz theres an incubation period of the virus
u have to self quarantine when u land bruh
fnc are similar to drx in terms of their methodical playstyle. i think fnc > prx comfortably
i think ssun > allow but i guess they dont want to repeat the hyeoni situation
really? id say they put allow on duelist because t3xture is not the best at raze
if u guys think meteor is good wait till u guys see texture ;)
lmao read the title and jumped st8 to comments
you can look at it like 'Xset is already qualified to champions and they have yet to play an international series is stupid' cuz of the low circuit points needed but u can also justify the low amount of points by thinking it as filtering teams not in form. say there are 3 masters (2int 1 domestic) what if a team gets a lot of points from 2 masters earlier in the year, but in the last masters they become dogshit or maybe they dont even qual for masters at all like c9 for example (top 3 na not winning 1 game). you woudlnt want that kind of team at champions would u
'much better last year' bro there was also 2 international masters last year
am i wrong? its a literal fact that these players are averaging way better in other regions in asia compared to when they played in kr. search it up ur not sure u cant lie with the stats
funny because he was the reason why drx destroyed fpx. died first 100s of times for no reason. suygetsu wont help ur bot gameplay man
ive said it before and ill say it again. whenever a korean gets imported, their statistics go WAY higher than when they played in korea. for example in japan, on average korean imports gain around 30 acs. korean 'noname' fill players literally shit on the regions they get imported to compared to when they played in kr. that can only mean one thing, competition in korea is harder than the other region.
joxjo went 57/40 /22 against the 2nd best apac team. before he joined nth, he was a no name and his team got shit on every team, one of those 'talentless' players u are referring to. udotan is a noname korean player who go imported to PH. he averages 280 acs on jett on talon (pretty big org), what did he average in korea? 220 acs.
ok so ur top 2 teams outside of prx can do decently well against them. krs worst can do well against them. its not the same
btw kr vct has 2 streams, eng and kr. eng stream averages around 10k for the finals i think is saw 15-20. the korean stream went up to 10k at one point (early into the stage) but usually averages around 4-5k. that combined is bigger than every sub region in apac viewership.
drx would shit on apac as well so first of all lets not even bring up that drx is better than everyone in kr. if you wanna judge just how competitive korea is i suggest u search the tourney up in vlr. i want you to see just how many 11-13 maps there were between every team including teams like DK. even the worst team got to 11-13 vs DRX twice or something like that. and i really doint understnad how number of players indicate how strong a region is. if anything, having lower number of players means you are versing the best in the region hence making it more competitive. why do you think franchising is gonna happen? they are reducing the amount of teams so that each team will play highest competitive games
because "Bleed eSports Obtains $50.8M Investment From Asia Venture Capital". wow sponsered by oppo when dk is sponsered by Kia Adidas. oppo has networth of 500 million (2020 source so likely around 800 million as they gain 150mill annually), kia has 6 billion networth and adidas has 14 billion networth. all u have to know is ur comparing one of the biggest LoL orgs to a mobile gaming org
again with ur numbers, WHO CARS HOW MANY PLAYERS THERE ARE, HOW MUCH MONEY THEY BRING IN ETC ETC ETC we are discussing region strength not region popularity
top 3 top 8 > top 8 top 8 no matter how u look at it. 'who knows what bren could have done with visa' when i could say 'who knows what VS could have done if they didnt vs GMB in the quarters', mind u bren literally thought VS was the best team in the world at that time and GMB themselves had said VS is their biggest threat.
going off international results alone in 2021, kr- top 3 finish, top 8 finish. sea- 2 top 8 finishes. and u cant use the fact that kr had 2 teams in masters when sea had 3 in champions when kr had 1. cant be bringing excuses like visa when i can also start using excuses like 'drx happened to vs gmb in quarters and were the only team to take a map off them in playoffs' or like 'teams like TS had the easiest route to playoffs in champions whilst drx had to verse 2 major region teams in their group'
do you know what dk is? they literally won LoL worlds 2020, they are so big. i fact checked and DK has nearly earned more than all those orgs combined off earnings. by the way dk is damwon KIA, they are literally funded by a car company
how is there a lack of talent? do you even watch the games? you think meteor is good, wait until you see texture. theres no way you look at dk and ons rosters and think 'oh thats little talent'. and views and sponsers isnt the matter at hand when discussing region strength is it
thats not why we have 1 slot. sea did not do better than VS last year and yet they will have 4 guaranteed apac slots compared to our 1 guaranteed for champions
ur using the fact that kr has no org support as to why kr is bad when dk is a bigger org than every sea team besides bleed. not to mention ons is pretty decent from what i hear.
you say that when home competition is doing better than international competition against drx. dont forget there was 3 korean teams left in lcq while there was 1 sea 1 jp.
i think lan experience is very overrated esp since there are no crowds. the amount of players with no lan experience who do well far exceed the ones who fall short of their domestic performance
i never once put apac down or called them trash etc, only stated that east asia > cuz of their clear achievements. if youre gonna get mad at me for stating a fact then just go repeat history class and flame the teacher why dont you kekw
and i listed the literal FACTS about achievements of east asia vs apac. how is me listing a fact toxic or starting a fight.
i think everyone is misintepreting this post. this isnt na vs eu. this wasnt meant to be bm or toxic or anything like that. just simple recognition that east asia is at the very worst competitive with major regions now
