At first it was easy to defend him because in my opinion, TSM's early defects were in their composition and their attempt to try to disrupt the meta. Once they tried to follow the current meta with their recent comps and failed recently last challengers, it would've been harder to try to defend Cutler because we're seeing now with this current comp that Cutler is becoming more of a liability

NA has no chance against EU (aside from 100T)

Group A:

1 - FPX
2 - Gambit
3 - TL
4 - BBL

Group B:
1 - fnatic
2 - Futbolist
3 - Guild
4 - Oxygen

Semis -
2-0 FPX v Futbolist
2-1 fnatic v Gambit

fnatic wins it all 3-1

dark horse: gambit imo

I think Vikings will be able to mechanically outplay other teams. The only reason they lost to Gamelanders in the winners group was because mwzera absolutely popped off and they seem to have a hard time countering his aggression (i'll say it again, mwzera is the BEST raze in the world). I think they have the mechanical skill and the strategies, but I don't tnhink they are above FPX and fnatic until they face diferent region playstyles.

I agree with your points too

2-1 if nature plays, 2-0 tsm otherwise

my rankings (but im going to assume that instead of FaZe, we are using XSET)

for this im taking into consideration recent achievements, current meta, and also team and play styles

  1. fnatic (hot take, i'll explain in a bit)
  2. fpx
  3. vikings
  4. sentinels
  5. gamelanders
  6. 100t
  7. furia
  8. guild
  9. team liquid
  10. furia
  11. sharks
  12. envy
  13. xset

i'm genuinely convinced that fnatic, given an extra month, will be the best team in the world. their strats always amaze me and while their teamplay is stil lfresh and gonna need improvement, they'll probably go head to head with fpx just in terms of a player to player matchup and the versatility of each team's comps

i put fpx/fnatic as the two best because of each team's versatility on every map. fpx amazes me with their comps too and i just think between vikings/fpx/fnatic it's a three way tie but eu is slightly ahead

outside of that, i think the aggressive style of brazil will easily counter teams like sentinels, but will quickly be countered by teams like 100t and to an extent vikings and team liquid.

my rankings are biased though because i think teams with set defaults and styles like vikings/100t are rated highly. also i'm not sure with gamelanders at #5, but i think mwzera is really just that good. he's imo the best player in the world. i think of them like navi (except they're way more aggressive) with the s1mple/electronic duo being mwzera/jonn

envy/team liquid suffer from a lack of a notable backup star player behind their main star (jamppi is kinda questionable, and kaboose is a hit or miss on some days); also i think both teams are inconsistent (envy less, but they seem to be heading on a donwards trend). meanwhile i think furia will actually choke at their first few lan outings until they get more experience. same with xset

also taking into consideration of the new comp meta, furia/sentinels i think will be hit hard by this meta. personally i would put sentinels somewhere not at 4 but right now their achievements are too strong to put them anywhere below the top 4

Holy fuck Renegades are so good on split retakes, especially A

also what the fuck are soniqs doing, they're choking in an ONLINE TIER 2 GRAND FINAL I have never seen such a collapse like this

Like at 11-11 wtf is Crunchy doing ulting a position where his teammate is PLANTING on? how are they losing control of parts that they have two men watching??? I don't understand even though I wanted RNG to win

just feel as if unless he branches out his agent pool more he'd find himself on the cutting board. leaf proved this tournament he excels as an entry on raze better than relyks, is obviously better at omen than him, and leaf can also play sentinel if needed. don't know what else relyks would be good at tbh

Hey guys, I want to see what your favorite teams to watch based on these three categories:

1 - Chaos/Teams that win off of pure mechanical aim
2 - Teams that play with set strategies
3 - Underrated/dark horse teams

Trying to watch more teams outside of NA/EU so send me some recommendations

For anyone who argues fanbase, consider that korea and japan have slots even though their fanbase is pretty small compared to other regions

But imo i think their fanbase is big enough and watching the teams play is fun. I think so imo
