Nah they were definitely trying to win, XSET just played well and beat them. However I'd imagine since half their players have COVID they probably didn't prep for the game, and since XSET were guaranteed champions with that win they were definitely antistratting and VOD watching hard for that game.
All the people shitting on Optic are just the usual baiting europeans, but I think XSET have been together for quite a while and won't fold to the LAN pressure
They definitely will change the seeding if that happens, and IMO NiP wins the LCQ
I think XSET proved today that they are a damn good team with a great map pool and all-around great players, we will have two very good representatives in Copenhagen. As for Optic, I'm glad that this game exposed a lot of problems (Ascent attack, Haven defense, Bind in general) that I'm sure they'll fix for LAN. Also, I think Optic has slow starts and usually warms up as the tournament goes on, so starting in groups can help them get the feel of LAN again, assuming they don't get upset. I definitely feel like both NA teams can make a deep run at Copenhagen, exciting times!
OpTic is 100% a guarantee or people will riot that the best NA team isn't in franchising; they are a pretty big org too.

With all due respect, for this game it is sort of fortunate that FNS got hit hardest by COVID, since he isn't exactly a fragger to begin with, compared to someone like yay.

No one is sad because SEN gets to play, it just sucks that Ghost had so much promise from groups and choked hard, and now they don't even get a chance to rebound, especially since the team probably won't exist anymore because of franchising. If both SEN and Ghost made it people would be chilling
