Wow, it's almost like if you become a journalist, you work for someone else and not everything you research is fun and games and about a topic you want to research. Maybe that'll jump start reality for you, but probably not

writing an essay has nothing to do with journalism? You mean researching and studying a topic and writing a paper about things you learned has nothing in common with journalism? Oh boy, good luck with your future

f0rsaken/Indonesia carrying Singapore lives rent free in your mind

posted about 2 years ago

You're upset because I told you what you already knew, damn. Must hurt

posted about 2 years ago

with only 2 Singaporean players? Not even half the team is from Singapore, oof. In fact, the Singaporean players are the 2 most consistent bottom fraggers. Should hand the team over to Indonesia, since they're carrying

when does Singapore play?

To be fair, their FPS of choice in the region is Overwatch. They dominate the scene and have pro players in every region because they dominate it. but....... Korean ex-cs:go pros have transitioned and some ex-Overwatch pros have too. CS:GO was the FPS of choice for "Western" players, which is mostly attributed to cs:go

at least 50% of the user base that's active are trolls/baits. There's no moderation so they love it. Honestly, there's no use for the forum outside of official posts about tournament/team changes and schedules

posted about 2 years ago

All of the teams who have money but amount to nothing have hired him, including NRG and TSM. He hasn't improved a single team he joined. Optic have been a top NA team before he joined, and he hasn't improved anything. There's a reason the other teams he has "coached" for have dropped him before being with the team for a year.

No reason to hate him other than he's an overrated coach because he had a name in CS:GO

posted about 2 years ago

no, you said, "i mean if u look at his stats, going into Masters 1 he still has like the 2nd or 3rd best headshot percentage"

and I replied, "headshot percentage doesn't mean much"

Every single Radiant player has good aim, pro or not. If aim were to fall off (somehow), so would their rank, and they would no longer be a pro. Of course his aim is still fine. It's decision making that's the most important thing when it comes to pro play and where people become washed.

headshot percentage doesn't mean much

posted about 2 years ago

It's impressive that he can aim with his arm like that

posted about 2 years ago

They do lack players though. Their player base is low, and the only good players are ex-CS:GO players. If a game like Overwatch dies out so that talent can transfer over, then there's a discussion.

posted about 2 years ago

low T2 experience? Oh yeah, on what team? You might be thinking of T3 or even the unknown depths of T4

Not saying being on unk teams is bad, but I wouldn't claim T2 unless you've been T2.

posted about 2 years ago

because you know that Ban was just signed and 100T have been looking for a player before TSM, plus 100T haven't announced getting Wardell at this point which makes you doubt that they're getting Wardell

Yeah, all of that

posted about 2 years ago

Well no crap, of course skill level continues to rise. What kind of dumbass comment is that?

Yeah, they lost to Fnatic and not a single NA player whined that they were down a player.

Your Team Lulquid lost to the team that was down a player and lost to Nuturn/Fnatic, must be a bad team. See what I did there? Used what sad EMEA fanboys use, excuses and trying to turn the picture around. Cringe.

posted about 2 years ago

Great, more excuses for EMEA on why they lost Iceland......

Can't wait for the cringe comments about how they're better because they're playing with a crutch but it was still close. Meanwhile V1 already did this, beat Team Lulquid then lost, and NA made no excuses.

posted about 2 years ago
  1. Nobody but BR thinks LOUD will do well at masters
  2. I smoke that copium every time
  3. Many (including in NA) think this. Plus, EMEA holds like half the spots so chances are one of their teams has to make it
posted about 2 years ago

Facts

Other teams (cough Sentinels) could learn from them

posted about 2 years ago

The only people pissed on this forum are EMEA fans, already making excuses for when they don't win. Read around. Other regions are calling it out because it's pathetic. They have more slots than any other region, and yet they're making excuses as to why they can't win. That's absurd.

posted about 2 years ago

Pretty sure Optic and C9 have around the same amount of viewers, and The Guard is brand new but currently hyped so they're getting plenty of views

posted about 2 years ago

The dude has streamed before and knows he can make money, but I'm pretty sure he dislikes it enough to not care about the money. The only reason he streamed was from a bet.

posted about 2 years ago

You're right about Sentinel's mentality, but there's a reason why new teams (like The Guard) have come out of nowhere in NA, after grinding practicing and trying their absolute hardest for the past 3-4 months to make it here. The issue with Sentinels is that they make too much money off streams, and so do the orgs. The real money for orgs isn't in the tournament winnings unfortunately, and it sets a bad precedent for orgs in NA.

posted about 2 years ago

Your region still gets 3 spots. NA wouldn't be making excuses as to why they lost if The Guard couldn't go. C9 would take the spot and that'd be it. If they didn't win, that's that.

We wouldn't cry and make excuses as to why we lost. EMEA cringe. I might think BR is mediocre, but at least they don't whine over every loss and instead decide to celebrate their victories. I give props to BR for that. Then again, that's every region except EMEA.

Remember when V1 played with a sub and beat Team Lulquid? I remember.

EMEA teams always make excuses, meanwhile every other region owns the situation and plays their game. NA didn't complain about having a sub when V1 lost, but EMEA loves excuses. It's inevitable.

Hot take: The Guard v DRX finals, goes to map 5

EUmegalul region gets 3 spots and can't even make top 2 cringe

posted about 2 years ago

From the little bit I've watched, the dude is very into investing and his finances and I'm sure he understands streaming is where he can make the most. I think he'll continue that path until he has DUMB money and feels like competing again because he hates his life (dude doesn't seem to like streaming).

posted about 2 years ago

Not even 3rd place/bronze and gets Iceland, oof. Trash region

posted about 2 years ago

Imagine placing 4th and getting a spot at Iceland. Every other region has 1-2 spots and needs to dominate their region. Meanwhile Team Lulquid goes 2-2 in a tournament to secure a spot. Actually laughable. They practically give every EMEA team a spot these days.

Honestly, EMEA has no excuse to not win Iceland. You have 3 teams go to Iceland, and had 4. Actual cringe region.

posted about 2 years ago

The Guard coming out of nowhere and dominating NA is fun. It reminds me of C9 in League of Legends back when it was Balls, Meteos, Hai, Sneaky, LemonNation.

I also like DRX. They seem super strong and I continue to COPIUM and see them do well internationally.

I've seen this person post before, and they farm reactions with trolls. Ignore them

Mind you, their CEO is under investigation and their LoL coach was just caught for importing Chinese players in exchange of money

True, they got dumb fuck crypto "investor" (idiot) money

Honestly, I'm curious how much it is a "Family" in Derrek's mind, and to what extent. It's odd because Rise went further than 100T, but 100T is a big org and willing to spend $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Derrek should see the cash and take it while he can. The biggest concern in esports would be the stability, but the compensation from 100T would probably be worth it.

posted about 2 years ago

So you're racist? You only care about diversity of sex? Got it. Get your racism off vlr, thanks.

posted about 2 years ago

Are you disguising your sexism for diversity, or trolling about diversity to trigger people? The one dude is a minority on this cast, so if you cared about diversity you wouldn't be complaining. On top of that, your post was about how they don't seem to know what they're talking about, which has nothing to do with diversity.

Ethan has played Chamber and Sage 15 times of his last 31 maps played. So.............. he has played half of his games as a sentinel. What do you mean?

Funny enough, I think Ethan is mediocre, but calling him out on not flexing is dumb. He has flexed more than anyone on 100T

posted about 2 years ago

Last 60-90d:

  • 14 Chamber
  • 10 Sova
  • 5 Skye
  • 1 Sage
  • 1 Omen

Mind you, a long time ago he was a controller player, and then he switched over to (yes) Skye when she was broken, and has continued to flex for whatever the team needs since then. I think he was something before Omen/Controller, but don't remember what.

I'm not a big fan of Ethan, but he has flexed since joining 100T.

Technically that would be xenophobic (not racist), quite similar

posted about 2 years ago

I've watched him for a while now. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see him being a prodigy, let alone a top player in NA.

posted about 2 years ago

Can't commit to 1 game? Trash take, silver ranked player.

posted about 2 years ago

This is true though. Zombs is a consistent bottom frag and nothing special on smokes. There are plenty of other Astra players that aren't bottom fragging and negative kd every single game. He fits perfectly into the stat line of getting carried.

How can you be a delusional Mitch fan if Mitch is actually good?

posted about 2 years ago

I hope this happens, but TSM have the easiest bracket possible, meanwhile DZ have a lot of tough teams they're going to have to get through.
