It will be fun for former FPX fans.
However, I am concerned about the news that Zyppan is looking for a new team offer.
Who will replace him in his absence?

posted 7 months ago

Unfortunately,
Art remarked during Stream that his own personality makes him a very Toxic person in ranked matches and in competition matches.
He's one of the top Japanese players, but that's probably why he said he failed all his tryouts for the team he wanted.
JDT eventually disbanded the team because some players refused to team up with him.

posted 7 months ago

laz said on his own stream,

"Tryouts have begun, and there will definitely be changes to the 2024 lineup, and to be honest, I don't even know if I'll stay.''
However, it was only a possibility, and Laz himself did not intend to quit ZETA at all.

The prediction JP community is that the roster change would be Crow or ten.
But what would be a surprise change?
I suspect SugarZero as a possibility.

Congratulations, you have been selected to receive the offer. This is a great offer announcement.

2024 is expected to be a comeback year for YAY.
However, NA is very competitive.
CN has a threat of potential talent.
Playing in the Pacific, where the level of duelists is below average, it would be easy for him to quickly dominate the area with his mechanicals.
Also, with yay name recognition, he will have a lot of offers.

Let's bring back el diablo to the land of PACIFIC!!!

He may be an icon of the Indian scene, but isn't this unfortunate for GE?
rossi's clearly fell below the level of his surroundings and was lowering the overall performance of the team.
Being a Jett OTP, it is frightening to imagine him on the roster next season when the meta changes.

TS and k1ng ,
According to contract database, the contract initially ran through 2024.

Status was updated on 8/31 and the contracts for these two have been shortened to 2023.
Currently, there is one player, meteor, who is under contract through 2024.

How good is he?
I am curious because I don't have much support for the Turkish scene.
I know that Alfajer has been evaluating it.

He continues to participate in scrims for Fav gaming, a JP team. Perhaps they have signed him up.
Compared to Nth, it's not a very good team.

Although I certainly enjoy it,

I feel that the culture is too immature to call itself a sport with a system like this,
and that we are simply being deceived by embellished advertising.

Anonymous leak from the JP community.
https://i.imgur.com/3zfkZKL.png
(Sorry, I have not translated it.)
However, posts by this ID have accurately leaked multiple new rosters for JP Tier 2 VL, NOEZ, etc. and is the most credible leaker in JP.

Below we pick up and translate important information.

DFM -> Joxjo signs, Anthem and Suggest stay, Other existing members have begun tryouts.
FAV gaming -> tenten signs contract
CR -> possible neth leave
JDT -> likely to be disbanded

In addition, multiple postings in the same community have resulted in
JDT Duelist KR player iZu is very likely to move to T1.
iZu was initially expected to move to CR.
This was because iZu had participated in a CR scrim in July and August.
However, iZu returned urgently to Korea a few days ago for "work".
And cancelled a Japanese community event called RAGE.
Yesterday, iZu, who is staying in Korea, was seen forming a duo with T1 xeta, and also playing a custom game with 11 players without Japanese players.

And an even more interesting fact...T1 has announced a show match with KC on 9/16.
https://twitter.com/jadetokky/status/1695980080135278618

The RAGE event that iZu cancelled on short notice has 9/16 on its schedule. What a coincidence...LMAOOO
https://valorant.rage-esports.jp/2023/

PS: Information about ZETA is still closed, we are very careful to manage information within the team.
However, Laz assured us in his Streaming that the members will change.
The only confirmation is that a player named yuran from ZETA Academy was found in the scrim.
https://zetadivision.com/players/yuran

ZETA 0-3 Optic
PRX 2-3 FPX
DRX 2-3 Optic
DRX 2-3 LOUD
PRX 2-3 EG
PRX 1-3 EG

Look at these results.
All Masters and Champions.
ZETA, DRX, and PRX have not won a single one.
The cause of this is not a simple mechanical...it shows the difference in plans to fight BO5 maps.
I don't know yet what the solution will be to close this gap...

tenten was just recently found participating in a scrim for FAV gaming (JP Tier 2).

FAV has had a poor season and will probably sign him to increase their strength.
He has a 4-game suspension penalty, which I am sure he will digest in some way.

iZu is a very highly regarded duelist in Tier 2 KR, as you have said.

According to the scrim info staff in the community in Japan, he was frequently seen in CR scrims.
And since he tweeting contract gifs, the community was initially convinced that joining CR.

However, two days ago, iZu suddenly returned to Korea for "work".
He also cancelled a community event in Japan that he was scheduled to attend.
CR neth was saddened on the stream, saying "I lost my boot camp plans..."

Also, a week ago, there was information that iZu moving to DK by a leaker familiar with player trends within JP.
If the timing of his return to Korea is now, this is the most plausible.

New: Global Esports expected to explore replacement options for SkRossi
https://win.gg/news/global-esports-expected-to-explore-replacement-options-for-skrossi/

But Global Esports was unable to win a single map at the event and bombed out in second to last place.
Global Esports was defeated by Team Secret and Rex Regum Qeon. SkRossi was the second lowest-rated player at the event according to VLR.gg.

Interview with Coach aleck by Japanese Media.

--You mentioned about jinggg's military service. Does he have to leave PRX?

aleck:Jinggg is leaving PRX after this season and will not participate in the 2024 season. We would like to send him the military service as soon as possible.
That will make it easier for him to retire from the military.

Since the OVERWATCH era, BOOSTIO has been known as a competent but toxic. So I am not surprised about his attitude and reputation in Valorant.

A well-known story in the Japanese community was a player named Ta1yo who reached the point of joining an Overwatch League team.
When he came to the U.S. and was competing in a Tier 2 tournament in NA, the boostio of the enemy team gave him a kovaak as a gift, saying, "You are too bad at this, so practice with this and start over.
The Japanese took it as a joke story. He must have a toxic talent.

jinboongE, a former member of SLT and FL, was seen participating in a scrim for Sengoku Gaming. A contract is being assured.

Rumors have also leaked out that a Korean duo is joining SG.
jinboongE's, twin brothers "Gwangboong" have recently been spotted frequently duoing at Competive.
Gwangboong is a former NYXL Overwatch League player.

The fact that TGRD's business fundamentals are deteriorating has been in the news for some time,
is reason enough for the players to seek a transfer to a team where they can be treated better.
I wouldn't be surprised if the entire roster was replaced.

Recently there was news of a former SG vici doing a trial at ASE. This is a follow-up to that report.
Scarz Jemkin was observed playing the same team custom game with vici. (The opponent appears to be ASE).
jemkin and vici could possibly be looking for transfers from several Chinese teams.
SZ has already had Allen declare LFT, so there will be a major reorganization of JP Tier 2 teams.

This is a question that happens frequently, but the Russian players who play in JP reside in the Russian Far East. This is a geographically difficult ping to play in EMEA.
The Japanese server is more convenient.
However, as the Chinese competitive scene flourishes, we expect to see an exodus to Chinese teams.

News of Vici player who was at Sengoku Gaming.
He had no information after he crossed over to Southeast Asia, but
Today, they were able to confirm from the texture stream that VICI has joined the ASE members and is in a scrim. (The other party is PRX)
It is possible that they are having tryouts.

He is currently sunk in Tier 2, but was an excellent duelist in 2022 NAVI, correct?
Cloud, who was also highly regarded, is now good enough to carry GIA,
I think it is possible that Tier 1 may pick up ssk as reinforcement.

Of course. sugarz3ro has been a consistently high performer throughout the league so far.
He is the most highly rated player in Japan today. He is only 20 years old and has a lot of room to grow.

He is a blessed talent with multiple titles to his credit on the competitive scene: Overwatch, Pubg, and Valorant.
He is now 22. Hopefully he can step up to a higher team before his age peaks.
