They literally mentioned three or four times that he wasn't having a good game. What they don't do is say he's "shit as fuck" because A) that's an awful take, B) they're not children like you. The man had a bad map, chill.

I don't get this argument at all. Why would anybody NOT want to watch Val esports on a co-stream channel? You get to watch the game and your fav streamer in one... It's more entertaining. It's not as if Shroud is doing something else other than watching it... you're acting as if it's sort of background noise to what he's actually doing, which isn't the case at all. I would be highly surprised if people just tune in to Shroud's channel just to watch him sitting there watching something else unless they are very enthused by Val esports.

Two teams thought to dominate EU? Based on what? Acend winning a T3 competition, and G2 succeeding in qualifying for their first Challengers?

Lmao.

Valorant esports fandom is the ultimate "what have you done for me lately?"

Acend has not been tested. G2 has very little experience. Relax on the "TL and Fnatic now suck KEKW" bs.

Because Sentinels played really well? Because only one EU team played Sentinels and got extremely unlucky on several maps, each of which were extremely close. Do you really think that if Sentinels played EU teams week in and week out like they do other NA teams they wouldn't lose a map? Of course they would. Listen to the pros you idolize -- Shazham, Tenz, etc-- they're telling you this, but you choose not to listen so you can keyboard warrior on a forum. Nice one!

That's a really bad take. You're just bandwagoning because you don't understand the game at a pro level.

You're speculating just like he is regarding how much they fluctuate numbers. According to most analysts, pros, and journalists who have covered major esports tournaments, the common consensus is that those sorts of incentives absolutely DO boost numbers.

Ascent was quite possibly the worst Liquid performance I have ever seen. What on earth are these tactics?

What exactly do you base this on? Wardell has simply not faced the level of competition that Derke has over the past six months. And when he has, he and his team have failed to have an impact, whereas Derke's team has become a massive global force in Valorant.

I feel like you're defending Wardell because you're a fan of his, which I understand, but there's no real logic to your claims. You've watched his streams, cool. Go watch Derke's streams, too, because you will see a level of aim and skill that is absolutely as impressive.

... which you'd expect given they are officially the best team in Europe, and finished fourth at the first international Masters.

"based on logic" - you mean like the adapted elo system that VLR uses? As in, match results, and the weighting of those match results based on the scale of the tournament they were recorded in? You're quite literally owning yourself, my friend. Well done!

What an absolutely atrocious take. You do not need to MVP to justify your rank-ups, that is the most clueless thing I have ever heard. If he was playing a duelist then your point would make some semblance of sense, but as a Viper or any other controller/initiator, you are not expected to MVP. Your job is to help the team with your utility, which requires playing more passively.
