Aspas holds the record for the most kills in Valorant Champions history with 1,046 kills across his appearances (2022, 2023, 2024). He is the only player to surpass 1,000 kills in the most prestigious event.

Aspas set a world record for the most kills in a single map in VCT history with 47 kills on Lotus while playing Raze against recent Masters winners Sentinels . His KDA was 47/19/6, with seven first kills, breaking the previous record of 42 kills held by Yuma “Dep” Hisamoto.

Aspas broke his own record for the most kills in a Best-of-3 series with 82 kills against KRÜ Esports in February 2025, surpassing his previous record of 78 kills against Cloud9.

Aspas is one of only three players (alongside Less and C0M) to place in the top 3 at every Valorant Champions tournament he has attended:

2022: 1st place.

2023: 3rd place.

2024: 3rd place.

Aspas had the highest rating in 2024 across all official Valorant events, with top stats in:
Average Combat Score (ACS): Highest among all players.

Kill/Death Ratio (K/D): Highest K/D ratio.

Average Damage per Round (ADR): Leading in damage output.

Kills per Round: Highest kill efficiency.

First Kills: Most first kills, critical for opening rounds.

Aspas was also the 3rd highest rated player of 2023 and was awarded the Champions 2022 MVP by Riot.

A long time ago, Nunally, Suzaku and I talked about something. We wondered what happiness would look like if we could give it a physical form. If I'm not mistaken, I think it was Suzaku that said that the shape of happiness might resemble glass. His reasoning made sense. He said that even though you don't usually notice it, it's still definitely there. You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light. I doubt that anything else could argue its own existence more eloquently.

What do you do when there is an evil you cannot defeat by just means? Do you stain your hands with evil to destroy evil? Or do you remain steadfastly just and righteous even if it means surrendering to evil?

After the loss he was also the only one that stayed to take pictures, give autographs and talk to the fans, while the others just ran away

it can kill many talents and eventually WILL kill many talents but they see it as the price of winning. A sacrifice they need to do in order to become better and win

Even in western Valorant there are similar stories. There is a vlog from LOUD 23, the LOUD vs SEN game where Less talk about his time on LOUD 22 and how toxic the environment was and the pressure to win Champions at the end of the year.

At that time and even today Sacy said that it was toxic and stressful, but he doesnt regret it because they won. In League Of Legends there are many stories like this. Faker even had to stop playing for a while because he couldnt feel his hands and fingers, he played too much, but he won Worlds that year

posted 4 weeks ago

I trust he will WIN Champions this year somehow, but this:

Artzin has 0.80 rating this season (FNS retired with 0.78)

its fucked, nzr was kicked out of the team with 0.93, and both frod and artzin said before while mocking LOUD and FURIA that being the IGL is not an excuse to have bad individual numbers

posted 4 weeks ago

on LOUD in the tournaments he lost early (Masters 2):

Masters Copenhagen 22: 1.04 rating, good rating, pancada had 1.05 and saadhak had 1.13, Less and Sacy on the negatives

Masters Tokyo 23: 1.11 rating, great rating, one of the best in the tournament playing 3 maps of Neon and losing 4 maps

On his LEV days 2024, Masters Shanghai (no rating available because China): Top 6 ACS, Top 4 KD, Top 3 KPR, Top 3 FKPR.

A 0.53 rating for Aspas of all people is extremely unusual, he didnt even looked like the same player. Despite losing he was still putting up good numbers, but losing while being one of the main reasons they lost, its the first time

posted 4 weeks ago

What bothers me a little is that this was the first time Aspas had a stinker performance. He was eliminated early many times before in Masters 2, but he was still be the best player on his team and actually put up good numbers

cortezia also posted on twitter going back to LA after his time on Brazil something among the lines of: "After spending time with people that actually care about me..."

And the fact that Artzin never goes to these vacations and he has 0.80 rating this season (FNS retired with 0.78) doesnt give me a lot of hope going forward but lets see. Trust Aspas i guess

posted 4 weeks ago

thats unironically true, there are several sources that relate Asia's success in esports to extreme discipline and burnouts

posted 4 weeks ago

Oh yeah, i remember that. But they still only qualified for Champions because of points, its not like they got much better in Stage 2. They turned up during Champions

posted 4 weeks ago

Is MIBR the only team that loses a tournament in an embarassing way and goes on a happy vacation after that? After Kickoff, aspas, naxy(his wife), xenom and cortezia went to Ireland and when they came back they kicked nzr to bring Verno. Artzin AFK in Los Angeles. After Toronto, aspas, naxy, xenom went on vacation again, cortezia went back to Brazil. Artzin AFK in Los Angeles.

Are there any other teams that also does this?

WE all know VCT only actually started in 2022 and Champions 2021 had no crowd, studio tournament, dinosaur era, Derke had hair... But if they managed to dog walk Gambit with Kiles going -31, they deserve to be World Champions

Leo being treated like some untouchable god of valorant after his sickness is so funny

He was glazed before but not on the level that he is nowadays. He lost to cow ahn zeen and t0yz twice at Champions, and would lose in lockin if it wasnt Alfajer and Derke on Icebox. Alfajer was always more impactful than him in 2023

Notice how I said “franchise history”

posted 1 month ago

I limited to franchise only just to hate on that boring ass FNC vs EG. I cant remember how GMB vs NV 2021 went

posted 1 month ago

notice how i never said it was "bad", just that it was the worse compared to all the other finals in franchise.

Also, only a Fnatic fan would actually enjoy watching a predictable 3-0 beat down

which grand finals in franchise was worse than that one?

posted 1 month ago

it was a good series with close maps indeed, but thats because VCT rarely had "bad" grand finals. I just think compared to T1 vs G2, EDG vs TH, GENG vs TH, SEN vs GENG, PRX vs EG and FNC vs LOUD, this Toronto finals was slightly worse

It's pretty clear that Valorant has lost popularity in EMEA and the Americas

Do you have any sources on this? And if the problem is timezones just make all the tournaments in Europe, its good timezone for the West and the East

Less reached a Masters Grand Final at 16 years old, won the Champions at 17 against prime Optic and yay broken Chamber

Less also beat Alfajer twice at Champions, eliminated nAts and suygetsu in the same tournament with MVP performances. The only series he lost to Alfajer was the Lockin finals where Less still went +20.

In 2024 Less was kickoff finalist and top 4 Masters Madrid as one of the highest rated players in the world. He still remained as one of the highest rated players for the rest of the year even with LOUD's downfall

In 2025 he was the first player to win an international league in 2 different regions (Americas and EMEA). Diffed nAts in Grand Final. Top 4 Masters Bangkok. Alfa didnt qualify for Masters Bangkok. I dont see why this tournament would make Alfa surpass him

  1. Boaster

my input in the points distribution is you should take -200 points from Botster and give it to Aspas

posted 1 month ago

I remember when s1mple lost 2-3 to Faze Clan at IEM Cologne with Twistzz having an all time great impactful performance and making the winning play in the last fifth map

They gave the MVP to s1mple because stats and he only got hate because he robbed Twistzz. Its better to give the MVP to a player that actually won the event

I know ur sad Alfa had an amazing performance and was not the MVP, but it would be worse if a PRX player was not awarded

the more utility based, superpowers flying on the screen, ults, flashes, stuns, walls, special abilities the game becomes, the more asian teams and players shine

Take Overwatch for example or MOBA games like LOL

Liquipedia only writes official stuff from Riot, its not a "random editor" putting random names there

And I still r emember Marved was their most impactful player, that was prime Marved, as a LOUD fan, back in the day he was a beast. If you're a stats steven, he had 1.16 rating and yay had 1.19, not that far off, and remember Marved was a controller and yay was playing the broken Chamber

just need that champs for Brazil. come on
