I think EDG gets the win here. Historically speaking EDG has a horrible record when it comes to upper finals but I think this time they might just be able to do it. Unlike FPX, EDG, albeit not at their highest, has a very good chance at beating Trace. I don’t think we should rush to glaze Trace after their dominate performance against FPX because FPX was purely bad.

All things considered I think BLG could walk away with an easier win than anticipated. I don’t have too much to say about FPX, and while I deplore using such crude language to describe teams that work hard and want to win, the current FPX could fit the description of a crippled carp in a pond of alligators. Life looks the opposite of his name and BerLIN might as well have an iron curtain over his eyes because AAAAY is not going to have a siuuuuuuper nice time going up against a BLG who I think could very well be the 3rd/2nd strongest team in the region right now.

Despite EDG being super mid this stage, I’m still expecting them to walk away with a win. I think EDG should be able to wake up especially now that their regional dominance is wavering. S1Mon looked good and with nobody IGLing we could see a revitalized Edward.
BLG is unironically a very strong team right now from the looks of it. I had no faith in them but whzy is playing like a nice soufflé, which is to say, perfect. The rest of the team is looking great as well, and Jexen and bail both seem to want Champions desperately.
I want to say EDG 2-0 BLG but after thinking about the JDG game it could very well be EDG 2-1 BLG

Great series to look forward to, but I think FPX is going to win this one.
FPX has had an underwhelming Stage 2 performance, and although they fell short to opponents such as TYLOO, TEC, and Trace themselves, it was pretty clear that they were trying out new strats and tactics. FPX could return to their Shanghai abilities starting with this crucial series.
Trace on the other hand, is looking to rise to greater heights, and a win over FPX here could do just that. However, I personally feel like their game against All Gamers wasn’t good enough to convince me that they’re going to win against FPX this time around. I feel like they still rely too much on individual skill.
