Europe is small though, so it’s pretty easy to get to different countries (fun fact I’m in 🇫🇷 rn)

  1. I can’t speak fluent Italian
  2. I often plan family vacations to zoos across Europe
  3. I used to want to become a paleontologist when I was a child but now I just want to study natural sciences

I’d like to say that XLG is so strong that there aren’t going to be any upsets but the chance is still there…

Nuclear GC played in the Predator tourney last year I don’t see what’s so surprising this time

I planned to answer this once I reached 5k, so here I am. I’ll try to answer all your questions relevant to myself.

My summer holiday doesn’t end until the start of September, and since I struggle with procrastination a lot, I tend to have a lot of time on my hand. I do a variety of things during the day, from writing stories, singing songs, and playing various indie games (exception of Valorant) I stumble across.

The reason behind my motivation is actually quite lame and in many ways naive. I love being part of a community and meeting new people, and this site allows me to do just that. vlr.gg grants me a sense of belonging that, unfortunately, I cannot replicate in more meaningful communities. Also, there are some seriously cool people here who are 💯 worth my time.

Not at all. I’ve been a staunch Team Liquid supporter since I started watching VCT and it’s never had any influence on how frequently I use the site.

I am not of drinking age

I touch grass regularly. I go to the mountains for hikes with my family, engage in extracurricular activities at school, and perform music in front of small audiences (when I get the opportunity). In fact, im going on a brief trip to one of my favorite zoos in Europe tomorrow.

To sum it up, I use this site because talking to people like you makes me happy and I love the esport. Having lots of posts may be frowned upon but to me it’s just another activity that brings me joy.

Thanks for the interesting question! 😊👍

I don’t think there is a pro I look like but I’ve been told that I look like RM from BTS (which imo is an insult because I don’t think I look like him)

It's just a proverb or idiom I roughly translated. It's meant to invoke the same effect as #5
Also I'm visiting France tomorrow so that's very cool :D

I do write as a hobby in my spare time but I'm nowhere near good enough to make it a career lol. My destiny does not include being a writer and that's just fate being fate.

Thank you. I'm glad to know that my 3 semesters of Creative Writing class didn't go to waste.

If analysis is what you want then go for it. I used to do miniature hype/previews for CN matches back in the day and I actually enjoyed that a lot.

For even angels lose their halos in the depths of the gluttonous abyss. My sanity drains with every low-quality post I read and every autopilot post I make. The ritual we know as vlr.gg requests for each participant to sacrifice an intangible fragment of themselves, and it is those users with slippery fingers who abandon more than they might've intended to initially. cloudberry, we are fortunate people, but being just that comes at a price too.

If your aunt had testicles she would be your uncle.

edit: CN players would never leave their bag to play for a pouch

Being a text-based web forum, there really isn't a way for me to see anything. I think you should go outdoors for a reflective stroll.

Check yourself because 4am pst would be 13:00 for me and that sounds a bit sketchy considering the GF starts at 9:00

Us sane people need to stick together!

posted 11 months ago

That would be quite vulgar. Don't do that!

I love reading your analyses but I genuinely do not know how to respond.

What's your reasoning for liking TH and disliking EDG? (just curious)

Good work Stormm

No thanks.

I just hope it starts on the dot because I don't want to watch showmatch and stuff

Ah yes my favorite city. Seoul, China.

posted 11 months ago

It's also being held in Korea right now (milder crowds due to local esports culture), which makes a difference. If you look at the VCT 23 LOCK//IN event GF, which was held in Sao Paulo, you can see a clear difference in crowd atmosphere. Also, all the home teams have been eliminated so that lowers the excitement even more.

EMEA region is known for structured gameplay
AMER region is known for being strong overall and having "passionate" fans
APAC region is known for chaotic gameplay
CN region is new (and weakest) and is known for mechanics and hero plays

posted 11 months ago

It's a relatively new Esport so you're going to have to account for that.

posted 11 months ago

I just hope a non-NA team wins AMER Ascension (very low chance) because I'd love to see some more SA representation in VCT. As for EMEA, I am going all the way with DSYRE. APAC idk, and CN I have XLG making a flawless run.
