Yes EDG have shooters but so does every winning team. If shooting was all that was required to be good, EDG shouldve won tokyo. but they didnt. why? because their macro wasnt good enough

ive lived in australia for 9 months, I hold an african passport, my favorite league is emea, my favourite player oat is nats, my favourite team oat is gambit. Why on earth would I be bias to a year where emea didnt win anything. If anything I should be claiming 2023 and 2021 had the highest level of play

im sorry but you just have a bias towards older teams. every year the game is getting more and more figured out and the better teams get.
this is also low level bait. there is 0 chance you think 2021 or 2022 teams were anywhere near this level. prime 2021 sen/gambit/acend would get washed out and lose to any mid table team. Like lasts years Navi would completely wipe those teams. they'd be lucky to get 13 rounds combined
A team doesnt have to win two events. for example both geng and heretics did very well at two events. EDG did it at one, so people wanna doubt it and they pretty much ghosted the full year. If EDG do well at bangkok (top 3) I suspect much more people will believe in EDG and call the champs run legit. If EDG bomb out, people are 100% calling the run a fluke
2024 has been the best valorant weve seen yet. Only like 2023 EG and fnatic are comparable and both teams wouldnt top 3 level imo
