this one is worse
What other choke is this bad.
nrg vs fnc and drx and prx were good as. but i agree that last match between drx and fnc were so boring the last few maps
its passion. deadass every player cares about the trophy itself obv money is important but they are chasing glory (as cringe as that sounds its facts)
optic tag. bro doesnt know we not counting pre-franchising trophies anymore. THE plumbers era
5-6th merchants have had plenty of chances. Time for literally anyone else plus Frost is funny
i think its more of a factor for those players. Look at aspas, meiy, primmie. Even though their teams arent extremely successful, they are still putting up crazy numbers/clips due to their mechs. Demon1 and co just arent doing that, so americas teams priortising getting them was a fumble on their part.
(im saying individually they arent good enough to warrant teams to focus on getting them.)
i get what you're saying. those 5 players are not s tier players and need a good environment to thrive in (jaw on g2 doing decent). the other four are either mid, benched or just average rn. if teams didnt prioritise getting them after winning champs, americas rosters wouldve been more competitive. So much better talent out there.
No way its a two week break right? is that a mistake or what
ig we just copying whatever fns says
Id say equal to Lock in max. But less than masters
FNC announcement video for roster November 2022 and Lock in was end of Feb 2023. 3-4 months for prac isn't a lot of time to prepare?
Starting events are the most fair and it shouldn't matter if a team decided to make changes or not. 3 months off season is plenty of time to prepare and is a fresh slate for all teams and whoever is best at the first event will win.
thanks for letting me know 🫡
jesus are all americans this stupid. "if they cant handle 4 events" brother that's not what I'm talking about. Im saying that if one event has weeks of prep while another event has 2 weeks were teams took a holiday, that event means less.
Also forgot but the formatting of this tournament is just objectively less competitive. Single elim playoffs in 2025 is crazy. This game has so much randomness we need double elim. But you will just ignore all of this and say EWC means the same as masters. Stupid
bro teams like heretics have so much extra footage to work with compared to Toronto teams. And everything is built up for masters (stages). Teams try to get good to win a masters, EWC does not matter as much. If you think players are trying just as hard you are delusional, at Toronto players were giving it their all
bro did u even watch the matches. The difference between player reactions are insane. Also obviously they had less prep for this, they had like a month of prep for Toronto, while EWC had like 2 weeks (lot of teams did a one week holiday like PRX).
So yes bro less passion + less prep so doesn't matter as much
Teams try way harder and had way more passion at Toronto than they do here. Teams also prepped for the masters way more than EWC.
Less passion + Less Prep + Not VCT official. its definitely above other non-VCT tourneys cause of prize pool but its still under official titles.
That was the greatest impact GenG had this event. FNC and PRX beat all the same teams in playoffs, except FNC had to lost to peak GENG, sending themselves to lowers.
Arguably that match won PRX the trophy, cause they lose that GF if they come from lowers.
Thoughts? and did GenG peak at the FNC game and get worse after?
Now that PRX is back to form and top 3 in the world.
Where are all the haters who called for massive roster moves (mainly against Jing and something).
When PRX win toronto we need public apologies
Since franchising has started theres not been two of the same region in a masters or champs grandfinal... until now
Master Toronto Grandfinal: RRQ vs PRX or Geng vs PRX
APAC owns all other regions
