phoenix being marginally worse than the other 5 duelists literally does not hinder your game experience in any sense whatsoever

there are bigger things to balance more important issues to address than making 1 of the 6 duelists "competitively viable"

posted about a year ago

no. every character does not "need to have its uses". some characters are worse than others and will get played because people like them and how they feel.

there will never be a perfect world where every agent is equally balanced. thinking that chasing this equilibrium is a top priority is dumb when in reality they should focus on making sure there are enough viable options in each category

jett, raze, reyna, neon, yoru are all playable and have their moments. who gives a shit about allocating resources to making the SIXTH DUELIST competitively viable???

people act like you have infinite time and resources to balance agents when in reality you have to make decisions -- phoenix being bad does not negatively impact the game in any shape or form whatsoever

NOT EVERY CHARACTER HAS TO BE VIABLE

ITS OKAY IF PHOENIX SUCKS

there are literally only 3 smoke characters (viper isn't a solo controller don't kid yourself) it's pretty shitty if 1/3 of them suck

cringe group and the owner is a weirdo

easier said than done
team has played with each other for a long time, they'll probably try to work out the issues before making a drastic change

posted about a year ago

rb is insane, he just shuts down in the important matches and it's an issue that needs to be addressed eventually

he might need to talk to a sports psychologist or something, it's all mental and nothing to do with his actual skill

posted about a year ago

at least he's rank 8 in EU ranked xD too bad we wont get any more updates on that

"passionate" fans think that trash talk in game = death threats out of game

posted about a year ago

japan has been ridiculed. this roster has never played at a lan before this. check ur bias

posted about a year ago

best mechanics =/= best player

posted about a year ago

oh yea that guy that got 16 kills in a bo3 vs x10 hes alright

posted about a year ago

im saying it, one of the most mechanically talented players in the world
this guys aim is absurdly crisp

posted about a year ago

he is supporting brazil my guy

posted about a year ago

i think its funny because brazil and na fans dont realize how similar they are

brazilians are getting their punches in because everyone was shitting on them

but NA was doing the exact same because theyve been the joke in csgo for like 10 years straight lmfao

posted about a year ago

trash talk during the game isn't "disrespectful" it's part of the game and makes it way more entertaining

posted about a year ago

ye loud having 3 shit maps is very very bad sign for being tested in bo5

we will see what happens maybe they can patch up their issues before grands

posted about a year ago

cmon man im literally european and i know that isnt true

posted about a year ago

as someone thats neither optic or loud fan this is literally every region lol

posted about a year ago

brazilians here were saying they sucked on fracture over a month ago and you think they're going to improve in a day

posted about a year ago

split permaban, look awful on fracture and haven. that's three tossed maps

aren't they gonna get screwed in bo5?

posted about a year ago

you don't just handwave "esports" the whole issue of randomly picking up a player you havent trialed
that isn't esports its just brain damage

posted about a year ago

cuts android on the shortest notice possible, when they haven't even trialed ethan for a single scrim. dropping one of their best players for an impulse pickup

if they respected him as a player they could've at least clued him in or done the move earlier giving him a chance to play for another team, instead they drop the bomb right on roster lock in

very scummy imo

impossible this year

potential next year

posted about a year ago

prolly forsaken, guy had one good series and suddenly hes the best in the tournament

top of the list is skewed towards duelists too hard

posted about 2 years ago

sacy higher than aspas
jinggg higher than forsaken
sugarz3ro and tennn too low
marved too low

posted about 2 years ago

ye his igling is very solid but the guy is actually so bad individually compared to everyone else. he played alright in the guard series though

im not trying to be that guy like "kills are everything" but so many rounds are swung because he can't trade / whiffs an important kill

posted about 2 years ago

comparing players (within their roles) in the top 4
(i know yay plays chamber a lot now but i just sorted what makes sense)

yay, aspas, forsaken, dep
i think all the players in this category are relatively close besides dep who is a bit more inconsistent, yay > aspas = forsaken > dep

marved, pancada, mindfreak, sugarz3ro
varying playstyles make this difficult to compare but based on impact, sugarz3ro > marved > pancada > mindfreak

FNS, less, benkai, laz
there are three IGLs in this role interestingly enough. Laz > less > benkai >> FNS

crashies, sacy, d4v41, crow
a toss up because this role is so heavily skewed by utility rather than aim. sacy > crashies > crow > d4v41

victor, saadhak, jinggg, tennn
all extremely talented riflers in their own right, very close. Jinggg > TENNN = victor > saadhak

teams are all close in skill

ya drx are underperforming but this is still a comparable level to what they showed vs optic

zeta are just going godmode right now

stop trying to make it about drx and give them the credit they deserve for their performance so far

posted about 2 years ago

definitely not. but zeta has shown rapid evolution in their play over the span of the tournament so i would not be surprised if they have developed their playbook in a short time to become competitive with the teams like mentioned

even if they lost here though, they've demolished expectations by a tremendous degree and made leaps and bounds for their region

posted about 2 years ago

their players were just better and they on a man to man level outaimed liquid. was a shocker for people that believed japanese players couldnt aim

they had a few interesting ideas strategy wise but they were definitely carried by their individual skill

posted about 2 years ago

some people are just brainwashed bro. might be more common in some countries than others but you can find them anywhere

will literally froth at the mouth defending their country and "pride"

posted about 2 years ago

just wasting my time watching a team that's going to choke

you are saying its a waste of time if a team doesn't win

you literally do not care about the actual esport itself you merely care about supporting a team that experiences success

recognize how feeble ur actual interest is

posted about 2 years ago

are you dumb in the head? they played the most entertaining valorant of the tournament today. fucking enjoy the actual esports instead of cooming to the results. you can be sad they lost but this monologue is incredibly telling about yourself

i will never understand fans like this

posted about 2 years ago

god doomer fans are so obnoxious

just enjoy the games if you lose you lose quit fucking crying

posted about 2 years ago

he's 100% t1 talent. his issue isn't his skills, it's his mental. guy always collapses in important games, has been happening since VS formed

posted about 2 years ago

thats not on him lol, the igl tells him what to buy. but man he was whiffing some crucial shots

posted about 2 years ago

at what point are fans gonna recognize how hard this guy chokes in the games that matter

unironically korean tenz, obviously skilled but doesnt perform in important situations

posted about 2 years ago

sad that guard's first lan experience is gonna be two losses :(

posted about 2 years ago

you whiffed on all 3

posted about 2 years ago

dep < scream
sugarz3ro > l1nk
tennn > soulcas
laz >= nivera
crow < jamppi

toss up but i favor liquid slightly

posted about 2 years ago

i think g2 did okay, everyone just drastically underestimated zeta's firepower.
either way the fashion that g2 won the series didnt seem sustainable, on split they had a huge amount of clutch rounds that happened to play out in their favor, then bind was more or less thrown by zeta making really bad mistakes/poor decisions when it came down to it

hoody was pretty crazy though

posted about 2 years ago

60 to 144 is a very noticeable difference

beyond that is minor at best, definitely will not impact your gameplay in a real way

posted about 2 years ago

maybe man, in the end mechanics are such a little % of actual play it doesn't mean much lol

posted about 2 years ago

prx are the historic underdogs in this matchup but if they manage to win I think it's a good sign that they can defeat anyone tbh

and not because i think DRX are the best team or anything, but fundamentally i think PRX will struggle with them more than any other team

posted about 2 years ago

if PRX win this, they will win the entire event. no kappa

drx are their worst matchup by far more than any other team at the event and if they can overcome that they're set

posted about 2 years ago

zeta are a good team bro

posted about 2 years ago

yo you're the guy that made like 5 threads about japan after zeta lost to drx
