I'll leave some tips for those who want to show off their skills:
- Reach Radiante (50-100)
- Go Live (helps coaches see your in-game attitude and play style)
- Compete, even in small tournaments, to build your image.
- When you land a pro player on your team try your best and tryhard; people remember names very quickly. And if you communicate well, take the game seriously, your image will be positive.
- Try to find people with the same mindset as you, and differentiate between friendships and work.
I think that's the least of it, the luck factor... It always exists, but it's no coincidence that people who put in the effort, work hard, study the game, have a goal, and aren't toxic have a much better chance than those who just wait for things to happen.
