oh yes, i forgot you get matched up against #4 seeds in groups. I guess that's a good enough advantage. It wouldn't make sense to give a direct "bye" to playoffs for an event like champs.

am i dumb or is there no advantage to being the 1st seed in stage 2 playoffs?
