it means Na upgrades from a minor to a moderate region

guard would have won 7/10 times that third map if they played again

posted about 2 years ago

traitor bro even half of the west is cherring for drx

posted about 2 years ago

If prx are able to comfortably beat the guard on guards second lan match, optic would have lost to prx too if they were seeded to face them in quarters

posted about 2 years ago

different styles of shooting so idek marved's cold but mako is just mako

posted about 2 years ago

now the question is if as the second seed from group b if they would have actually beat any 1st seed in quarters other than the guard. They were the second seed to be fair and if prx beat guard we'll never know and guard will just become chokers while optic become later chokers

the 4th place team is gonna be better than the 3rd place team just cuz the third place team is gonna end up just going through uppers so they never meet no cap

Bro I literally worry for people who still think there are clear favorites in Valorant after months of wtv the fuck has been happening

posted about 2 years ago

Of course they're gonna win when zeta's throwing every other round but bro if you saw that g2 liquid game it'll make you want liquid to have like 3 rosters changes atleast and you'd prob pred them 4th out of groups 9/10 times. What do you mean it collapses. If a team looks decent against other teams that are looking decent in the games you call them decent. G2 literally barely holding on to a game agaisnt a team having the biggest throws in vct history when they should be expected to be one of the tournament favourites is bad,

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah and liquid beat them a couple of days ago before that too literally just a coin-flip. Who looks good and who looks bad on the day just decides the winner. G2 looked terrible in todays game and liquid looked decent in their games up to now so it's fair to say that if they looked terrible they looked terrible. and now zeta's gonna beat liquid on a high and you'll never know who'd actually win in this tourney

posted about 2 years ago

bro g2 is terrible did you see that game

nice

I'm genuinely slowly thinking one of the 2 lcq spots from sa lcq should go to the kr/jp lcq especially if china joins vct later this year. But i guess it's kinda hard because that's what riot br probably promised the orgs and they probably invested in vct due to the amount riot is willing to invest in sa internationally too

posted about 2 years ago

nice. I want loud to win but don't want liquid or zeta to go out first. Liquid > G2 but g2 gonna place higher no Kap

Edit: nvm hope liquid g2 and optic all bomb out for the sake of zeta and prx

posted about 2 years ago

zeta please. So tilting to watch with the throws. Genuinely just feels like zeta can win this game by just swinging everything and spamming util

posted about 2 years ago

This tourney is actually so good for a team like zeta. Literally god mechanics but just lacking in some international experience and decision making.

posted about 2 years ago

The thing about zeta is I feel like their midround decisions/retakes just take so long to actually do. I guess they have some fast rounds but got to be consistent and it can work out honestly with just pure mechanics and util.

posted about 2 years ago

BRO if zeta stop throwing this is actually winnable

posted about 2 years ago

damn how's this 12-6 has actually been pretty close but zeta can't close rounds out ig. They get so many multikills that should really just end up winning them the rounds idek

posted about 2 years ago

damn this is actually very winnable for zeta could be 5-0 or 3-1 already with those close rounds

posted about 2 years ago

bruh they can't kill the momentum like that with a tech pause already in round 1 tf

posted about 2 years ago

fuck i changed my pickems too late

should be
zeta win
liquid win
drx win
guard win

loud win g2 elim
prx win optic elim

semis:
zeta win
drx win

lower r2:
guard win loud elim
prx win liquid elim

upper final and lower r3
drx win
guard win prx elim

zeta win guard elim
drx win

posted about 2 years ago

To have any hope for the future of NA guard needs to win

'//,

posted about 2 years ago

drx is gonna 2-0 really hard and then prx beat whoever loses between optic and guard cuz they think prx is bad

posted about 2 years ago

just roll a random team in playoffs that isn't g2 and root for em anyone can win games/the event at this point more than people think. Don't worry about expectations or odds cuz they literally don't do anything

This might actually be the first time in val history where an apac team might go into a game as favourites over a major region team maybe not vote-wise but favourites as in analytically they were better and look like they play better type u know?

posted about 2 years ago

Wow watching this back tho xerxia and it's players are so good like actually

posted about 2 years ago

I think xerxia might have the best and most variety of defense set ups and reactions

posted about 2 years ago

Now the problem here is if sick ends up not feeling comfortable and not fitting into his new role that he might end up getting pushed out like ethan from 100t just cuz of role conflicts and they might just have to start to blow up the roster.

posted about 2 years ago

yeah feel like something that might happen is if Valorant takes too long or never takes off in kr even if ig alot of strong players exist through maybe ow transfers or just domestic players that the region itself will develop less than maybe some apac regions. The viewers and just teams/orgs are in apac rn and even japan. I guess you could say kr was stronger than apac for most of the time since Valorant launched just cuz of the teams that were compared but theres so much more competition in apac and even riot seems like they're starting to support apac even more with their decisions. Feeling the saving grace for kr may be if so many ow players join valorant that orgs are kinda forced to find interest and look at the possibilities for good rosters or if korea actually consistently does well internationally and the game starts to find domestic playrate because of Koreas success.
