This one and on haven, the timing is so bad. I'm so confused
I remember people were saying he wasn't broken when released. Pro play is unbearable to watch at this point
Someone changed my mind recently, where your "worst" fragger has to be on init/flex. If your worst fragger is a senti player, I don't think you can win especially with how hard exec this game is now. Your worst fraggers have to be "with the pack" players with a strong lurker to make it work. I think this is supported by all the teams who won
sen: johnqt (senti) - zellsis/sacy (flex and init)
geng: meteor (senti) - lakia (flex and init)
EDG: chichoo (senti) - simon (flex and init)
T1: meteor (senti) - stax (flex and init)
tenz evolved with valorant, fns is just forcing "csgo"
He thrived when the game was essentially cs with extra util, now its true valorant. Arguable on which one is better, cs/valo style, but he doesn't fit
The game isn't played like CS anymore, hard mid-rounding just isn't as important as it used to be. I think being adaptable and creative in the beginning stages of a round matter more, which is something that FNS has shown he can't do. It's at a point where is calling doesn't outweigh his gunplay as it used too.
C9 vs NRG: 30/70 NRG (As long as FNS can shoot back alittle, this game should be "easy")
Well..... umm never believing in FNS again
Across all regions who are some of the best up and coming players?
Its more of 100T having a full extra month of prep/scrims and johnqt was in bangkok for the showmatch so sen probably only had about 2-3 weeks of practice. How much can they really change in that time? I think its just safer to bet on 100T
Its hard to imagine NRG being as bad as they were in kickoff and idk how much c9 can truly improve so I lean NRG
I think you're underrating loud alittle bit, its definitely closer
C9 vs NRG: 30/70 NRG (As long as FNS can shoot back alittle, this game should be "easy")
KRU vs Loud: 50/50 KRU
G2 vs FUR: 99/1 G2 (Hard to imagine a world where FUR win with the loss of mw)
MIBR vs LEV: 50/50 MIBR (Don't know who verno/rossy are incorporated into the team)
2G vs EG: 10/90 EG (Hard to imagine 2G improving much from KO especially with a recent roster move)
SEN vs 100T: 40/60 100T (Alot more prep time going into this game)
Once you stop playing, you'll realize that your life gets better
The type of teammate trexx is, isn't really openly discussed, but crashies has been known as a player with great comms and mid-round ideas. Which in the case of FNC has obviously helped boaster alot, and its showcased in his gunplay. If trexx can't replace crashies/leo in the midround, then I'm sticking with crashies
Looks like hes taking a break for the first split
Oh they were supposed to be two separate questions, didn't want to make 2 threads LUL
its beyond ridiculous, when hes arguably one of the best ini ITW
What is the EWC drama?
and how tf is trexx benched?
Thoughts on removing robbie from m8?
and serial to TL?
Rumors are that VIT are making changes? Whos even on the market to replace their players? Has to be a mental/comms issue right?
They're actually playing with pressure now? Representing an org? idk
I'm a strong believer in words "not meaning things" without intent. I've met alot of people who say alot of dark things and thats their sort of humor, some get it but some don't. However, they are still great and kind people (obv not always the case). To me this was clearly banter between friends, and people around the cs/val community has talked great about him as a person and as a teammate, so I can't agree with you on this.
Its not about being soft or strong. Its about people are making him out to be a terrible person or anyone who says it out to be a terrible person. Have you not said anything within your friend group that when taken out of context would be bad? But its between friends where jokes can be more dark and thats fine. That's all this was, bantering between friends, but people are like 'how dare he make fun of the less fortunate?", when that clearly wasn't the intent. If there was malice behind it then yes, be mad, but there wasn't and it wasn't aimed at anyone.
Normally I don't but I saw he put out an apology tweet, so I checked it out and became very disappointed in people who made it such a big deal
This for some reason is a hot take now, but how tf are people getting hurt by words? If someone is actually bullying you then its a different story, however, when something is said with no ill intent and not even towards you, it offends you? I just saw the zellsis "drama" and it genuinely has me concerned for some peoples mental state. Do yall think zekken is like "omg zellsis actually thinks I'm a r*****"? (imma censor it bc apparently its the worst word to exist)
Why is intent never taken into account anymore? When people thought extraemily said the n**** and people went apeshit, while she seems like genuinely one of the sweetest people ever, even if she did, she clearly wasn't being hateful to anyone. I just can't understand people anymore, why is everything a problem nowadays and everyone is trying to cancel everyone over the smallest things?
hate me or not, this is just my honest take
There is too many abilities that allow for dumb plays and there really isn't as many ways to punish them for making a dumb play
Not a 100% match, but similar things were said about tenz. A jett one trick who overpeeks and overheats alot. Yet, he was one of the best omens ITW last year with the aggressive plays
ngl I miss those days when util was simple
With another "tp" added to the game, I got a question, do you like RIOT adding more of these? Personally I don't, I think it emphasizes dumber gameplay, once a high risk high reward to a low risk high reward decision.
Ludwig, QT, s0m, shaz, xqc, kai, amouranth, just to name of few.
It seems like you can just call for someone to be swatted without "evidence", which is something I just don't understand. The fact that the caller gets away with it for free is beyond me.
Watching gameplay, I change my mind alittle, however, I'm still not a fan of the dive ability bc its very committal and you either single dash or double dash. The tp and dive is very niche imo, its all about timing. I can already see someone accidentally double dashing and not pulling out their gun in time LOL.
But the strongest ability is for sure the slow, if this agent gets played, I think its mainly for that
Its definitely a fun agent with fast strats but I think it loses so much value in the mid-round, no?
She does in a sense, but my line of thinking is that you lose too much with swapping out an agent. Unless you fully commit to double duelist with the yoru. Yoru is too valuable atm, raze has too much viable util, iso just got buffed. Can you one for one swap with a jett? Maybe
I don't see its immediate impact, with the current meta I feel like the last thing you need is another dive agent. Yoru, Vyse and Tejo, along with the buff to iso. I think it might just be another ranked agent.
Also KJ mains stand up, now yall can play the game again
c9 leaf + the guard is legendary, looking greater than the stax/buzz debuff
If he didn't ace clutch, they full eco to give T1 12. The chance they lose this series 3-1 is massive with T1 having moment going into split.
Now lets see who chokes harder, stax/buzz or the guard core.
Dashing vents creates space and means there is no possible mid re-clear from mail bc they'll play into a cross fire. And how is there no benefit of that? Mid is literally the most important spot on split. "Imagine if he dashed onto site", you're saying this like they have full map control, they're taking mid for a reason. If a raze double satchels to vents, are you gonna sit there and say "he should've saved it for the site"?
I just genuinely cant understand how you think kangkang is a baiter? Yes everyone has their moments of baiting but to consider him a baiter is wild. You just straight up ignored everything about taking first contacts and taking space. If the only thing you care about is being first on site then fine, kangkang is a shit entry and miniboo is the best. There is so much more to being an entry, first contacts and early fights like I wrote, rapid map control like I wrote, along with site hits like I wrote and he does it all. He had a bad event so hes a bad player? You are ignoring everything just to fit your own narrative
#29, he is very often the first contact. If I'm the duelist and I'm the first to jump on site and I immediately die, does that make me a good entry? no. EDG's playstyle is very contact based and working the map for kangkang to get a kill. If your definition of entry is always first to jump onto site then by all means fine, that is never gonna be kangkang. However, to call this dude a baiter when most of the time hes taking the first duel for the team, is beyond me. He's never gonna be like 24' zekken where hes the hard dive with a util dump bc that just isnt their style, but he does entry for the team all the time whether that is first bloods or taking space and map control.
Split
"He's a jett one trick, his neon is reasonable enough"
"He rarely entries"
" the rest of team just pumps money into him"
"Again, he's good when they're winning, he's one of the worst if they're losing"
"tldr: bro is overrated"
And someone said drop smoggy like wtf are people on
The story lines are there for both sides. IMO it really is a battle of the good guys, can't really go against either side
