I agree that eg need changes either lineup or roles wise, but boostio is egregious

iirc the only time yay said he didn't want to play chamber was on bleed in 2024 when chamber was terrible. Also he just played chamber? some interesting cognitive dissonance there. Players don't really even decide what they play anyways (at least on eg) the players have made it very clear that it's a coaching decision.

Crashies is a support player, he's doing his job well but nothing close to carrying. He also is the designated spike caddy so alot of the rounds he's just dying with no impact
not really his fault but the stats will show for it

Chrashies util has been mental good, but he's definitely not carrying right now.

Does anyone else feel that chamber is super satisfying to watch? I used to always think this but i started to doubt it because maybe i was just looking at 2022 with rose colored glasses cause i liked the players. But watching fnatic play chamber has made me realize that he still feels really satisfying to me at the global stage. Maybe it's something about his animations? His sound design?

It's forsaken? Comparisons are null and void. He's god tier at anything he plays at any point in the game. Doesn't suddenly make bang a bad smokes player, he's one of the best to ever do it.

I agree that sen have gotten lucky, but 8th-6th seems like a reasonable placement for them and it's kinda just hating to hate to think otherwise. They aren't playing bad strategic valorant by any stretch, certain player(s) just arent shooting. We have seen far, far worse at this tournament.

I mean it always kinda has been. Format is terrible and will likely suffer for it. The level of play should still be quite high and we should get some banger games for it

Sen prx is a genuine tossup, prx have looked substantially better this tourney but sen historically are great at cooking anti-prx stuff with kaplan

The issue that EMEA is so good in cs that you know most of the time that someone from EMEA is guaranteed to win the event. Hard to be a fan of a region if there's no stakes.

jett and chamber sure, hes looked insane in ewc quals but he cant play other duelists at a high level
makes more sense for him to flex on maps where jett is bad

I think wolves is certainly the easier matchup, huge props to xlg for making this bracket fun
seems like the players and coaching staff are having a great time, bantering about it on stream and all
xlg and wolves are probably going to get a lot of fans from this tourney since they've been so likeable

cooked? tl had zero practice and no igl and blg was a close 2-1 series. I get that heretics performed abysmally but that does not mean that emea as a whole is dead
