Other teams got better, but people are too dumb to understand
Well it's true that between players he has that reputation and the coach bug will always be there as a subject for those players.
In the community it's different: HLTV literally gets flooded by people getting triggered when he starts his show saying that "he's over the line" or "he shouldn't be doing that, it's disrespectful", when that's the nature of Lan events
Well if you ask people in forums, there's always a percentage that have it the way you described: The W/L streaks, the shitty teams on your side and then literally playing against bots...
For me, i wouldn't find it strange if it's happening.
This on the other way looks unlikely to happen imo:
some EOMM practice even includes sabotaging the gameplay entirely like giving you peekers advantage, your shots not registering or hitting where your crosshair is obviously pointing at.
Yeah too much people hates him because they're snowflakes. When CS tournaments were online, people was like "we want Lan back! we want trashtalk and stuff!". But then Lan is back, and this guy gets all the hate for being one of those hyped players...
Nothing against them, and i will sound like a "very optimistic person" but i think that they could do good things if they put the energy in everything else in your list.

I agree in a lot of points, but i would erase the "guns" and "4fun" lists.

If it was my list, going very subjective now, i kinda like Silvanus and Nebula. Would move them to A and B respectively. Don't really care about effects or animations. I prefer a good color combination and theme. Zedd down to A, Ruination up to S, Singularity to B,
While HLTV have toxicity, VLR have cringeness imo

indeed, at some point of the tournament he was one of the most impactful players, but as DRX lost kinda early to put him in the contention of MVP, it got forgotten
The games were really good (not just the finals tho, it was a really good tournament) so i don't mind a 3-0
