Personally I don't think so, even tho the overall scoreline of 3-2 does make it look close, the truth is that to win a BO5 you must win in 3 maps, and NRG simply decimated FNC in Corrode (13-3), Lotus (13-6), and Sunset (13-5), making it near impossible to imagine FNC winning Champs 2025. A good example of winnable would be Optic in 2022 against Loud, even tho the overall scoreline (3-1) looks worse than NRG(3)-FNC(2) Optic got to match point first in both Ascent and Breeze, losing in OT in both maps, and won Bind comfortably. If they were more clutch on both OT, they would have 3-0'd Loud (no disrespect to LOUD they 100% deserved to win champs 2022 and were simply better and more clutch than Optic that day.)

Yo do you guys think that elimination games in masters and champs, when teams drop down to the lower bracket fighting to stay in the tournament, should be a BO5? There are both advantages and disadvantages to this format, but I believe it would lead to more exciting matches.

It's absolutely embarrassing that one rookie is carrying 4 veterans who have won international trophies. Very dog shit performance by all 4 of them, and huge props to Kajaak, this man has the potential to be the best duelist in the world.

sorry I have backed this guy for a long time but this performance was absolute dog shit bruh, you cant be called the goat and perform so fucking bad on the most important game of the year. Idk who the goat is but its certainly not him. HUGE CONGRATS TO NRG, VERY WELL DESERVED AND VERY WELL PLAYED. And so happy for s0m that his legacy wont be ruined by a silly cove play, hes championship material.

you know what i take back my word, that comeback was pure fucking cinema lets go fnc please deliver in ascent too, thats like one of the maps ur actually favored to win against nrg

even as a th fan i have to say that was a fucking banger, i still remember how bind ended with kk getting an ace but still couldn't win pure fucking cinema that was

wouldnt call him the goat but definitely top 5 player of all time, winning 2 champs with 2 different teams switching to an igl role in such short notice is mad impressive

honestly chron should not be called the goat if hes having such a dogshit performance in the most important game of the year, call aspas whatever at least he puts up a fucking show and its fucking entertaining to watch him play, this is boring af

i didnt expect this considering how confident they were yesterday after beating drx.

Bruh are you fucking kidding me? This is a GF, and we are getting this kind of performance from FNC????????? I actually feel bad for all the people who paid to watch this shit in Accor Arena, hell I'm mad for watching this for free—it feels like I'm wasting my fucking time. FNC is good but they are playing so dogshit rn, how is it possible that every other team that NRG faced (other than GX), whether it was EDG, DRX, or MIBR, was 10 times more fucking entertaining than whatever this shit is?

posted 9 months ago

that was one of the most idiotic plays i've ever seen bruh what a fucking joke

ngl but having three different categories for the same game format sounds kinda stupid. Like, shouldn't it be more convenient to just put aspas on the highest kill record for BO3 and single map?

Have faith brother, fnc showed that prx are beatable we just have to do our part now.

Guess what? Neither can aspas go back in time to not be the least impactful loud player in champs 2022 :(

yup he did lol

I kinda agree with this, no doubt jawgemo is really good on yoru but sometimes it seems a lil too much, like solo duelist yoru on bind feels kinda odd especially when his raze is top tier and probably the only raze who diffed jing on it

blud still living in the optic era 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

"PRX, G2, FNATIC AND NRG TOP 4. Mark this" yeah sure buddy no wonder as soon as you left nrg, they became good and verno doing exceptionally well in mibr
