alright man it's been too long now and too many roster moves, something is going on. either immi needs to be banned from building teams or he needs to resign if he's letting c9 management make these awful roster moves. i mean you've managed to take genuinely talented players and then build this monstrosity with it. oxy v1c and penny are great players, if you lean into double duelist with 1 guy on yoru between penny and oxy, v1c as a fragging controller, and supplement these guys with an actual igl then you actually have a team. they had mitch. even if i didn't really like him he was one of the few real igls in americas and now they're struggling against tier 2 because they don't have a real igl, insane

good point but bad arguments for it. before the recent buff i think she was the worst character in the game by a long shot. she's more viable now but the big problem is that her util gets wasted so fast. the flanks aren't a problem, if you have a good internal clock you can predict when they should be coming down the flank and care it, or push into their spawn. i actually quite like sage on attack but on defense you can break the wall, that forces her to slow, make some more sound she uses her second slow and now she has no util for whatever you were actually going to do. the heal being the rechargeable is insanely stupid. the way to fix sage is to make the slow rechargeable and the character actually has value

we're nrg fans, the expectation is that we win everything and the reality is we lose everything, idk what happened last year tbh i'm just happy it happened

for some pros what they do out of habit is go audio menu and completely mute the game. i've seen pros do this in apex when they die so they can hear the coach better, but in valorant, unless you're doing scrims where your coach is allowed to speak after every round, i think it's just to cool off and so they don't have to hear their team dying which might make them more mad

decent shout. i think he had some really good games and i kinda forgot about him so fits the description of underrated. i just feel he was a bit inconsistent like most of the roster. if he gets that sorted out i think he has TONS of potential

space taking is a good point but not quite enough. i hope he gets personal coaching to focus on one thing, maybe that's his calling if he were to igl again, but it should likely be either his aim (and multi potential) or his utility. either one works, but right now he just seems like a jack of all trades, but just like slightly below good enough at everything. but i would love to be proven wrong here i want brazil being a real region again but the mibr roster moves don't look promising

i think the coaches are stupid like you said and i just don't like how they went from literally one of the worst teams in the world to one of the best. it never felt replicable, yk? like nrg also had a quick rise to fame but it felt more steady and consistent, i mean they didn't lose a single match and always prevailed on teamplay. gx just feels like cloud giving his all and then ara is immature and sometimes the goat, sometimes a t3 player. that's just not my kinda team. i thought they didn't deserve their spot and my "hate" comes mainly from the fact that i think a team like bbl that had a more replicable and steady rise like bbl deserved that spot more. bbl had one off game and that's how they lost out, i didn't really fw that

i think the only reason i would call him bad is because he's not igling anymore. when he was igling i can take that as a valid excuse but after it's like.. what's the redeeming quality? he's not not deserving of tier 1 but i don't think he's champs caliber either. i really think he can improve tho

i kinda think s0m was honestly not that great this tournament. still good but i've seen him do better. i think its because the way nrg play, he helps a LOT with the mid round calling for ethan and that took away from his fragging and utility a bit but he was well rounded and tons of impact with that midrounding. i watch all their comms videos and i think especially his post plants are really well called from sam

i actually agree with this SO much. i used to support giantx a bit when they were still bottom 2 teams with koi and always felt like it was cloud and 4 bums. when redgar left there wasn't an immediate improvement but when i started looking at just his igling more in depth and less surface level it's been really really good. full agree

i was watching him but wouldn't really agree personally. i know he plays kayo and stuff too and while i think he's technically underrated just because everyone shits on him so incredibly hard, i don't really think he's that good either. i never watch him and think "oh that was a great flash" like i do with ethan and flickless

in my opinion it's flickless. i say this as a firm hater of gx and i will go even further and say i don't think they even should've been at this tournament. way too inconsistent but that's besides the point. flickless has some INSANE assist statistics and i think those kinda players, flash initiators that play for assists, always get underappreciated. ethan is my favorite player but honestly i think flickless did a better job than him when it just comes to assists. ethan had some great kayo flashes on ascent but flickless was doing that shit constantly and it was great to watch. y'all agree and are there any other underrated players from the event?

said this before, expecting s0m to retire and the best replacement I can think of that is realistic is oke. that means another rookie (technically not but yk) but he is the only one fitting the aggressive omen style that Sam does. if Ethan retires we're cooked tho, haven't been any good igl's, especially in Americas, so yeah

2022 was the best final but the story lines the other years were nice. i didn't enjoy 2024 i think it was boring to just have kk out aiming everyone, and though i'm biased this nrg run is good bc nrg aren't just a pure aim team

they were never lucky, honestly watching them they've been one of the unluckiest teams, people said first map was luck but before OT they lost 3 rounds to bad luck, 2 rounds where fnc got 2 kills through a smoke, and the one with boasters run and gun, realistically it shouldn't even have gotten to OT

i swear this is the difference, nrg always build good teams but have some fuckass coach (i'm looking at you chet) and as soon as they get a good coach and time to implement the system you have a champs contender and turned one of the worst igls into someone of this caliber, he might actually be one of the best coaches itw rn

as happy as I am with nrg winning today, even if some rounds were a bit lucky, we played really fucking bad compared to the games against gx, Drx, etc., team looked much more nervous today so I hope we can show Drx form against fnatic

it was lucky but tbf in the other maps (and corrode) mibr had some great luck too, lucky game from both sides tbf, i think mibr deserved it more today but in general nrg deserves it more imo
