Dude, fennel just kept improving throughout the tournament and I thought they would hit the limit in the final today. They went a level above today, sheeeesh.

his sova was ahead of his time, and even now people use his name during info ults as sinatraa ult. he made wallbangs popular and his recons are untouched to this day other than a few lineups here and there. his util usage is insane and when people say crashies is the best NA initiator, it tells me they havent watched prime sinatraa. yes, the game was new then but even after 2 years if his name is being brought up during initiator discussion and commentary, he should get some credit imo.

XD, learnt from the best, I'm afraid. also, love your chocolates.

i dont usually say this but he lost them so many rounds in that 3rd map that you can actually blame the loss on him.

flyuh initiator especially his sova is on par with trent's. what are you on about.

still mad about the tuyz shot in overtime, arent we? no need to take your seethe out on brazilians, ardiis.

posted about 2 years ago

brazilians, dont take the bait. these are just soulless monkeys who dont understand sports culture. also ardiis is just mad from the missed OP shot on tuyz which lost them the map.

agreed, and not just the US president.

the fact that valve is tempting source 2 should tell you that they consider valorant a threat, just to keep up with the popularity/virality of valorant.

posted about 2 years ago

nope, until they get a VCT trophy or go to final, they cant touch optic.

posted about 2 years ago

After rare atom's win against liquid in CS and EDG's performance in valorant the past year. They are looking scary for sure.

posted about 2 years ago

if faze lose this, they are eliminated. no?

posted about 2 years ago

seems to be a bit of a banger. but its during the same time as M80 vs guard. oof

I realized valorant was doing well when valve started tempting source 2 officially the past year. The source 2 stuff by valve proves that they consider valorant a proper threat (which it is) but, its good to get confirmation. I would like to add that both games help each other at the moment due to their contrast against each other keeping the FPS scene fresh. Both views should only keep increasing if things are going the same way as they are now.

he's doing his bit tbf. clear has been underwhelming the past few matches tho.

agreed

everyone brought something to the game and elevated the team to a new level. It was one of the best team in terms of synergy.

good post, you'd be surprised how devious some of these companies get. counter strike tried to control bootcamping stuff like this but the EU orgs never supported it so NA got rolled since astralis era and now EU is stronger. So this kind of stuff definitely goes into some decisions.

how did this team get franchising and optic didnt? that core was goated and franchising destroyed that team in so many ways. The best player on that team is a free agent who got kicked after one mickey mouse tourney, the others are haggling and their clutch master is going to a streamer org who focus on content/memes than results. franchising did improve the T2 scene and put some light on it but the best NA team results wise should've been protected in place of C9.

I feel like masters 2022 and champions 2022 were bangers in their own right. PRX vs FPX and Optic Vs Loud 5 map bangers going back and forth was exciting to watch. The methodical FPX vs aggressive PRX was a good contrast.

baiting isnt a bad thing if the baiter one taps after he knows their positions.

posted about 2 years ago

what did they say? not gonna watch at the moment.

posted about 2 years ago

??? you say a trans player is awful at valorant, you are getting muted for weeks even though its in-context of the game and you didnt even think it was anti-trans.

posted about 2 years ago

who would he have internal conflicts with tho? steel and exalt were chest bumping on haven after retaking a couple of times. so I would be sure that it might not be steel but with the other 3?

one man's honest opinion is another man's bait. You cant have honest discussion without baits.

Hope he recovers soon. Pretty sure it affected him during the DRX match, they could've been to the finals if they made slightly better decisions in icebox. it was 12-10 too with him being sick. He's a good IGL.

posted about 2 years ago

sage is a good one, because I've been noticing recently teams putting their duelists/high fraggers with sage on icebox and it works great.

a single agent doesnt make sense, we might need to go by the classes.
I think jett (especially with the new dash by double press) and the dash being non-linear comes down to user decisions, a good sova is very hard to play against more than a good kayo or breach, astra, and cypher.

posted about 2 years ago

the IGL is a bit lacking imo, not the fragging power.

always loved bind. its so comfy.

non-aimers hate the map and you just cant win rounds with ability spam. aim duels take over and we cant have that.

either the new devs are dogshit or the old ones stopped giving a fuck because the initial couple years, the game was well optimized. I never had FPS drops and used to get very good FPS on decent specs but recent updates and maps (?) are not as optimized. the tiny stutters/lags and just movement feels clunky now with FPS taking a massive hit. This is also why many prefer older maps even though they dont know the reason. Its because there are no performance issues, game feeling faster and more responsive. I hope they start optimizing their code than focusing on new skins. But, one gets them money while the other doesnt.

deserved. man went demonic on the biggest stage.

dasnerth is a good sentinel player in my personal opinion. he's on par with babyj.
