No matter how many nerfs she gets she’ll remain powerful bc of her design. Just designed as a lurker you can’t change that. Similar to Jett who’s still the best duelist rn
With bind I can see Fade being played with the amount of combos that she enables (I’ve done that in premier and hasn’t lost a game with fade so far on Bind but that’s due to a rank diff 😂)
Split wise we’ll probably also see breach being a secondary init like LOUD did towards the end of the season
I’m purely interested in comps bc I play premier and take it kinda seriously so I want some comp ideas to benefit the most from in game.
My predictions:
Ascent will probably stay the same with the old comp (please riot add something interesting to the map to change it up it’s so boring)
Breeze: double controller will be less viable with the halls change and the skye nerf so we’ll probably go back to the old comps unless a new good initiator comes into the game
Bind: nothing much will change but will get slightly affected by skye nerfs so maybe gekko will see more plays
Lotus: sacrificing double controller for a double initiator comp since skye gets nerfed and can no longer perform her old task as well, and there are more deep corners to clear now
Sunset: might see a no duelist comp like SR and NaVi has been running.
Icebox: irdk about deadlock but it seems interesting. IMO harbor will be picked a lot more but we haven’t seen many pro games on it yet

I think it is just me but I feel like people in chinese ranked servers are genuinely worse than people in other servers.
I’m so used to seeing players with Diamond gunbuddy (might just be bought accounts) having shit crosshair placements in game now ????

There’s a thing called social media and another thing called algorithm.
Algorithm gives you random tweets based off who you follow. Many people know because they’re either a massive SEN fan or bc twitter gave them the tweet since they follow many SEN players or the org itself.
I think they wanted to lean away from double controllers comps and tbf Skye’s rechargeable birds are the things that made it viable so I can see the reasons behind it.
I just personally didn’t like this change bc I liked the double controller meta as a viper main 🙄 and now viper is less viable again on many maps
Loved abusing Halls as an attacker but on the defensive side I also fking hate it. Riot is really cooking with the changes 💀
I think lotus’s leaning towards a double init meta with the amount of corridors opened up
I’m a big fan of the fade comps on bind but I just don’t think it’ll work. Maybe SEN would get something to work with a yoru comp but there’s like a month left before the next big event
How are comps gonna work now on double controller + killjoy maps?
She basically lost her birds. Which is the only long range info ability she has. I think she’s no longer an info init but more like a Breach type of agent that has a ripped off drone ability
Sova has higher flexibility in terms of recon ability, and also has a better drone type ability
They’re not similar playstyle wise
