i have to agree with you khayso, it slipped my mind when i was typing all this. but a while ago i was talking to an GC emea player(who i will not name for their anonymity) who is a top player and plays who a top team and they admitted that often when they scrim male teams they run into diffcults and when someone asked her if she were to play tenz or her she did not hesitate in saying tenz and admitting there is a skill gap.

the name that keeps coming up is the duelist like flor and sonder which i guess makes sense as they can just roll the competition but the question is, can they do it at a higher tier

i could also be wrong on this but some GC teams pay more than T1 and T2 teams so some may not even see the risk

of course that is a possibility and i could be wrong but just be wrong but i do not think that she would do such a thing like this.

firstly it just discredits everything she is trying to build and just makes the GC scene look bad in my opinion

secondly i agree with you her possibly not being up to standards like there is a gap in play from t1 and the rest of the tiers, even t2 (but some people think its a small gap) but for her to just run an excuse and not grind and try to get better would also not show the right attitude imo so i highly doubt that would be the case

the orgs have the right to call anyone up for trials they could even call some random vlr user if they wanted too. if anyone ever trials her and it doesnt go good then it doesnt, gg keep grinding. if it does and they like what they and want to consider her then thats amazing and i also semi agree with your view on there being current better players for sure like there are a list of player she could be better or on par with

maybe there is a part of me being naive but i dont know if anyone would ever go up to their coach/manager/org and tell them straight to their faces that they dont want her to trial because she is a women.

for the sake of this we will be using the 2023 rosters (whatever the teams were b4 champs) and we will go across the franchised leagues and go with teams that speak english (to my knowledge, tell me if i miss out on any teams).
lets say she wants to igl even willing to co igl and or midround.
she will be playing control and senti.
she also gets a fair chance and all we have to see is the games she has played for V1 and C9W, (we will also consider the 'skill gap' between GC and T1/T2)
im not considering female/male friendships or whatever people are saying because as the title says. if the world is right, so in this hypothetical world everyone is friends

personally if you want to eventually reach T1 you have to show you can work it out in the lower tiers or have some prior experience which is at the T2 or T3 level
may not be the right comparison but its like a high school kid going to the nba out from high school, other then lebron and kobe who else can say theyve been as sucessful.

compared to people at T2? you dont think she needs to climb up the ranks like everyone else prove herself at a higher level? she should just jump queue?

victor has won master. look at his 2023 stats he doesnt get the flashiest kills or the clips, he digs deep does his work never complains
there is also a role difference you cant compare, in NA league victor played, jett, kayo, viper, kj, raze (neon in playoffs). cant compare 2 players like this

in terms of flor im talking purely NA here outside the LATAM and BR teams, the only person id replace her with is 2023 version of NRG ardiis not FPX ardiis.

all in all, from how i see it, if you deserve to be on the roster you will doesnt matter what gender race or background you are from. no one owes anyone anything and you cant say someone 'deserves a spot' thats not how the world work. when she gets a fair chance and im sure she will then she will get her chance to prove herself but of course it sucks that she got denied trials cuz she is a woman.
