it’s funny because he played worse than boaster at champs 23 aka their best year ever especially in the loud matches and yet somehow aspas should be flamed more for being team diffed by everyone else at toronto

of all examples scream is possibly the worst one you could think of
they had like one week of practice i heard, not a bad showing even though they got rolled on lotus
i need teams to run neon phoenix on breeze, fnatic would have won more cleanly with him over iso
even worse, did you see his flashes vs TL in kickoff? he flashed his entire team that one round
they play fade on haven too, you might have mistaken it for their pearl where they do play sova
sylvan peaked in bangkok and had very good smokes util usage, stax also had a good tournament
suygetsu and shao had to not represent russia if they wanted a spot on navi
they both have an international trophy
no way bro after your shit got wiped you only got 30 second cooldown??
waylay and neon are so much better duelists though, they’re able to capitalize off of fade and tejo util unlike jett
have you even watched them play in toronto and onwards?
i liked their attack side ideas on breeze, very well executed and i could see some of the value they got out of the iso, could’ve had a much better defense though that shit was very messy
they’re trying their best to adapt to the double duelist fast paced meta and it showed on bind when they ran some fast rounds, some hiccups but fnc will get there.
overall not a bad showing for their first game in stage 1, they can always get better
Vitality let boaster go 12/1 at some point
FNC and EMEA has done nothing at internationals since 2023 we should abolish the region and give more slots to pacific and americas
tell thosw teams to stop being mediocre and step up then
it helps that emea is transitioning into the double duelist aggressive meta which is fun to watch against teams who still like to play slower
8-4 is not that crazy of a lead, 9-3 sure it depends on how they lose out
americas is playing on the new patch so i’d assume the other regions will have it in week 2
Alfa neon makes saadhaks neon look competent in comparison
watch alfa play on neon in his previous matches and you’ll change your mind
unsurprisingly their comp is good on attack and EF is playing cypher in the big 2026
if that’s surprising then wait til you realize who the best emea team was in 2024
i would be more confident in a comeback if they had phoenix over iso
I have yet to see an impressive performance out of Derke on Neon and/or Waylay which Kaajak had multiple good performances on
TH is ranked #24 in platchat btw, other teams that placed 6th in kickoff were placed higher except for china just to add on to your point
oh yeah that I agree with, one way I could somewhat justify it is that they placed 4th in kickoff which is the best placement you can get while not qualifying
I have a bad feeling that fnc will make a comeback
wouldn’t be surprised if that happened, fnc’s comp is better on attack + they are the best team when it comes to making a comeback
teams should be playing more vyse and kj if they want to play sentis imo
2/3 international winners in 2025 won while playing little to no cypher , he also doesn’t provide as much value as pre-nerf vyse (actually come to think about it, vyse now is better) or even KJ
no yinsu at santiago either, that event was cooked without her icl
